What is the difference between nUI Release and nUI+?

I keep hearing people mention nUI+... what is it?

nUI Release is the version of nUI that's available for public download here on WoWI, at nUI's official web site (www.nUIaddon.com) and the other WoW MOD sites... Curse.com and wowui.*************** -- nUI+ is a special version of nUI available to anyone who subscribes to nUI's newsletter mailing list by going to http://www.nUIaddon.com/plus.html.

As for the current feature differences, at present the only code difference between nUI+ and Release is that the nUI+ version includes 15, 20, 25 and 40 man raid panels. In addition, newletter subscribers will get immediate update notices and bug fixes as soon as they are made via the nUI+ version while the Release version will be updated on a less frequent basis.

In addition, as an nUI newsletter subscriber, you are also eligable to participate in nUI's beta test program. By default I will only e-mail out notices of nUI+ to subscribers when there are updates to nUI for use on the live realms. Once Bliz opens the public test realm (PTR) for the next upcoming patch to WoW, I generally stop making live realm releases (other than maintenance releases for bug fixes) and I start working on porting nUI to have it ready for release when the next WoW patch goes live.

As for the planned feature differences (which will be part of the update cycle for the nUI+ version but will not be immediately available in the Release version), the nUI+ version will also include GUI tools for all of its slash command options as well as GUI layout tools for customizing the layout, enabling and disabling built in features and customizing pretty much every element of the UI. The Pro version will also support, obviously, custom layouts and will support multiple layouts where each character you have can have its own layout (like a DPS interface, a healy interface, etc.). nUI Pro will support downloadable custom layouts as well where you can download a different layout for nUI that someone else created, just install the layout and start using it.

Other features that will be in the nUI+ version (but may eventually be in the Release version sooner than later) is the ability to save profiles, to create action button sets and save them so you can easily switch between action bar setups for questing, for raiding and for PvP, etc. as well as the ability to maintain multiple sets of key bindings.
