nUI6 with extras

This is my layout using nUI6 which is currently in Alpha and isnt fully features so i've used some other mods to make it look more luke nUI5

in addition to nUI6 i am using

Elkano's BuffBars to handle buffs and debuffs Leftside is Player & Pet Buffs & Debuffs on the right is Target Buffs & Debuffs

Reputation Bars to add the rep bar on the right adding the nUI XP/Rep bar skin with SharedMedia

Basic Experience Bar on the left with the nUI XP/Rep bar skin

sStats is what is adding the FPS and MS stats on the side of the microbar.

I use MoveAnything to hide the default UnitFrames.

On the right i have set up Recount to Hide in Combat and Show OOC and Omen to show in combat and hide OOC so they switch .

still got some fiddling to do to get it virtually the same until Spiel2001 gets nUI6 fully featured

Also Spiel2001 if you dont want this posted then by all means delete this post and PM me i just wanted to share what i had done while we wait for nUI6

Thanks for taking the time to put this up. One quick question. How do you use the shared media once it is installed?

The rep bar was no problem selected fifths from the drop down menu. I cannon seem to be able to figure out how to do the same with the basic experience bar. Any suggestions?

in the shared media folder open up SharedMedia.lua in wordpad etc and add this line to the bottom

LSM:Register("statusbar", "nUI", [[Interface\Addons\nUI6\Layouts\Art\nUI_XPRepOverlay]])

for BEB its a bit harder

copy the nUI_XPRepOverlay.blp into the BEB\Textures folder THEN go into BEBOptions and open Localization.lua in wordpad and look for

now load up wow and adjust the settings if you get stuck PM me and ill see what i can do.

PS i use notepad++ instead of wordpad.

i'm just wishing it had the info panels, it made managing addons like healbot, omen, and recount a lot easier....

and in the mean time, blizzard brings out new patches and breaks more of nui.... *shakes fist at blizzard* i came to nui cause it was great, and always up to date... the "always up to date" part is slipping

i made a mistake with the code line for SharedMedia

change

LSM:Register("statusbar", "nUI",                [[Interface\Addons\nUI\Layouts\Defaults\Art\nUI_XPRepOverlay]])

to

LSM:Register("statusbar", "nUI",                [[Interface\Addons\nUI6\Layouts\Art\nUI_XPRepOverlay]])

it was looking for nUI not nUI6

here something for the healers out there ive got Recount and Omen sized together and HB sized to fit the right panel now with a macro

/hb t
/recount toggle
/omen toggle

you can swtich the display just make sure HB is hidden first.

Found another typo. There is no "Defaults" subdirectory in Interfac\Addons\nUI6\Layouts. That node needs to be removed.

Speaking of nUI6, has there been any more mention on how things are progressing with it's development?

I'm still not able to even get the beta.

Scott is hopefully secluded himself so he can concentrate on it but if not its probably because he is still dealing with his real life issues that have marred the time he can spend on luxury play time etc.

for me nUI6 as it is works fine its just missing all the features.

Tiny, just set up nui6 the way you said. Awesome job figuring this all out! One question, sometimes the tootip sometimes gets stuck on a pary member, and won't disappear until i reoad ui. Is this just a symptom of alpha, or is there something in the extras that i missed?

do you mean that sometimes the tooltip is always a party member no matter what you mouse over? i get that error from time to time too and i dont think its from my setup.
