Please Note: WoWI staff won't approve your group membership request. The only ones that will approve them are Haavok or Faatal (known as carboniteaddon on this site). Sending PMs to WoWI staff clarifying something you forgot to include or asking for us to approve your request will get you exactly nowhere. You need to send such things to Haavok or Faatal as they will be the only ones actioning your requests.

Could you please post Carbonite elsewhere for download. I find WowInterface to be very difficult to use. Maybe its bad coding on their part, browser incompatibility (FireFox 3) or just really bad GUI design but I can't find a link or button ANYWHERE on the Carbonite page here to download it. I've had this problem with other addons on this site before to the result that I just don't use anything that is exclusively available on this site anymore. However I recently purchased Carbonite and its a great addon so I don't want to let this site prevent me from using your excellent product. I'm not asking for you to remove it from here, but please supply at least one alternative location that you keep current for downloading. Please because I am unable to get the current version.

P.S. For what its worth I think Bliz's new policy that caused this is dumb and I posted as such on their forums. Thanks for all your hard work.

I also use Firefox 3, which works fine on WI.

Download page is here:
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...Carbonite.html

The download button is a big button on the right side of the screen above the screen shots. It looks like this:

It is in the same place on every addon page.

I am very sure that the crew for Carbonite is very thankful that your mom donated.

The first thing you should be very aware of... your donation is to help support the Carbonite team for continuing their development of this fine addon. It is not to purchase Carbonite, the ability to purchase the addon was removed due to Blizzard's recently updated AddOn Development Policy.

Just as well, they are already aware by the number of posts in the Bug Reports section of the forum that there is an issue with the current version of Carbonite (3.001) working with WoW v3.1.0.

Just like any addon developer.. they will agree when I say that "This will be addressed in an update to Carbonite".

That will happen once they are finished developing and testing it.

You can currently use the version of Carbonite with WoW v3.1.0.

To do this, log into WoW then on your character select screen, click the AddOns button in the lower left corner. Next thing to do is to making sure you click the option to "Load out of date AddOns" from the addon menu.

This will allow you to continue using Carbonite until they can release a stable version that is up to date.
