Pick for 8/9: Patch week brings 4 Picks!

Happy patch week, everyone! After searching over 14 pages of new/updated addons for the week, I figured I'd save my brain from having to whittle down the number of Picks, and give you four great new ones to try!

ColorTools:

Do you dread seeing the default color picker window because you can never get it "just right"? Are you OCD about your UI (don't worry, many of us here are) and have to have all of the colors matching perfectly across all addons? ColorTools aids you with these difficulties by enhancing the color picker window. It adds copy/paste buttons (to copy the same color to different addons), r/g/b edit boxes (to input the exact color you want), and a field to use hex color codes (in case you're more comfortable with that method).

Check out its download page.

Damn Blizzard Error Frames:

Do you feel like the new error reporting window leaves something to be desired? Want to use it, but wish it was a little more like the addons you used to use? This addon will add features to the new error window such as a slash command to open it, previous/next/etc. buttons, and makes the window larger. The addon will also queue up any errors that occur before the actual Blizzard error window loads up, so that you won't see the original lua error window in the middle of your screen upon logging in with errors.

Pimp your error window by downloading this mod here.

Iron Chef:

Since the new Chef's Hat speeds up your cooking, I'm sure you'll want to always remember to put it on. This addon will remember for you (as long as you remember to at least keep the hat in your inventory ). Upon opening your Cooking window, it will equip your Chef's Hat and change your title to "Chef". When closing the window, your previous helm and title will be restored. Bon Appetit!

Be the perfect chef by trying out this mod, found here.

OhNoesQueues:

One of the changes that came with 3.2 was combining battleground queues into one window. OhNoesQueues helps you better see at a glance what you are queued for, what is ready, which has a holiday, etc. It does this by removing the battleground descriptions from the bottom half of the window and adding buttons with color-coded borders. They even have differing functions based on whether you right- or left-click them. For example, if the battleground you have queued for is ready, it will have a red border. Left-clicking this red-bordered button will port you to the battleground. Right-clicking it will remove you from the battleground's queue. As a bonus feature, the addon lists how many Marks of Honor you have under each corresponding button.

Simplify your battleground queuing process by trying this addon out, found here.

For previous Picks of the Week, see here.

Are you the author of a mod that you think belongs in this spotlight? Just upload/update it to WoWInterface, and it will automatically be considered for that week's Pick.
