I play a shaman. I've been playing around on the PTR with and without nUI running to see if there are any issues. The only thing I see giving me a problem with the 3.2 patch (apparently it is coming out this week) is that nUI covers up the default position of the totem bar and there is no way to move it to make it usable with nUI active. Does anyone know a way around this issue?

You should be able to use TotemCaddy or TotemTimers as per usual. I will incorporate the new totem bar in nUI 6.0 but I don't want to spend the time writing it for 5.0 just to have to redo it in 6.0

Yes Totem Timers seems to be working fine from my initial tests when the test server came up the first day.

Totem Timers works, but it does it incorporate the new 'drop 4 totems at once' system?

Edit: Found my answer. There's an alpha version of TT that has some support for the totem bar. Looks like it's still being tested though. Here's a link for anyone interested in checking it out. http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/totemtimers/files/

Rofl, I will definitely test it out. My Shaman is fast becoming my main now that we have a few more shadow priests in the making. And with the new Heroic changes we will be doing a hell of a lot more heroics now.

Oh, Scott. Another sudden inspiration while I was figuring out what to do while I wait anohter 4 hrs for the servers .. rofl.

You know how you have that flash of color to show a curse, poison etc I was wondering if you could add some feature or if possible we could add a plugin to do something similar to do the following:

A prime example:

Frost Blast from Kel'thuzzad fight.

Healbot has the option to color the whole bar a dark red color to flag up as a special debuff. In this case healers have 4 seconds to heal them through it or they die. This is the main reason I am still using healbot and not working on getting the click casting to work. The other reason is my stubborn streak but I'll use the excuse that I don't like grid to use with clique and the nUI frames do not flag up special debuffs like healbot does.

Now if it isn't feasible to add this to at least version 6.0 is it possible that someone could create a clickthrough layer of color on one of the unit frames when they are hit by these special debuffs so that healers/decursers etc can visually track them without the use of a third party set of frames ?

I was able to use the MoveAnything addon to move the new totem bar using:

/move MultiCastActionBarFrame

I assumed that the frame was simply being covered by the nUI setup, but even when it is moved to a position that should not be covered it is not visible. When I use the MoveAnything command with nUI active it finds the frame, but nothing shows up on it.

Do you know why the frame would not be showing correctly? And is there possibly something simple that we can do (I'm even willing to edit lua) to get it to simply show the frame at all for the time being?

Thanks

How's 6.0 Coming along? Can't wait to try it out. Although after the 3.2 Patch my framerate dropped dramatically on 5.0

Looking forward to your new work

Bliz made some optimisations (sp?) that seems to have worked for people with nvidia cards (or so I'm told) but not for people with ati cards.

Tho I haven't noticed a fps loss (not a big one anyway) shadows are horrible to look at now, flickering more then a flickering.. light.. or something..

/edit

You may have add ons that generate a lot of lua errors, that can slow down the game engine a lot.

Ooh, that would explain my 56fps in dalaran now. I'll have to check my raid runs and see how they go. Maybe I can spruce up the graphics a bit now if the fps is better on my nVidia.

If you have shadows on.. Turn them off.. Works wonders, and to be honest, it doesn't look that much worse.

Rofl, I used to have like 10fps or so in Dalaran. Now, in the bank I get 50+ and on the streets moving about 30fps and standing still in the streets 30fps unless a lot of activity is going on. And yes, I have almost everything turned off apart from spell details and such like that are needed for raiding.

Hey Xrystal i saw your earlier post about buffs and such.
My main is a priest on Bloodhoof EU Horde side and i used Healbot a lot then i saw a post in these forums about a mod called Vuhdo and i tried it out liked it.
Went back to HB again for a couple of days because i wanted to sort some things out but then i put V in again and now HB is gone vuhdo is just much better at all things.
In the config there you can color the bars in what color you want with V when for example frost blast occurs.
You can also change names or put in your own names on different things that happens and should trigger something for you.
The whole addon looks more modern and nice i think.

If you havent tested do that you might find it good to use until Scott releases version 6 which could have that support built in thru plugins which would be awsome.

@Scott thx for an awsome addon lookin forward to next version of it.
