WoW Patch 3.2
News
There's lots of rumor swirling about whether or not WoW Patch 3.2 is coming out today... I would say with about 98% certainty that it is. They are doing an extended maintenance today, they are reconfiguring some servers today, the PTR is offline and the patches have been pretty small of late.
So... the big question is what do you need to do about nUI for patch 3.2 -- and the answer is... nothing. There are no known issues with nUI and WoW patch 3.2 except that nUI does not support the new Shamman totem bar... however, nUI never has supported totems and the addons such as TotemTimer and TotemCaddy do work. So, you should be golden.
In the event you do encounter any issues with the current release when the servers come back online. Please start by confirming that the problem is in nUI and not in one of your other addons. If nUI loads and you have no unit frames, no HUD, etc. that does not mean that nUI is broken... it means that the addon load failed due to an error somewhere... anywhere... not necessarily in nUI itself.
If you have a problem when you log in to WoW after the patch, try turning off all of your addons except nUI. If you still have a problem, please visit nUI's forums at
http://forums.nUIaddon.com and check out the technical support forum... there may already be an answer there. If not, post a message in the technical support forum and I'll attend to the problem as quickly as I can.
On a side note, I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank everyone who has contributed to my trip to BlizzCon... I'm still deeply honored that Blizzard saw fit to invite me to attend and I'm deeply humbled by the show of support that you have all demonstrated. It truly is a stunning community of users and I am nothing but privileged to be a part of it.
If you would like to make a contribution in support of nUI's ongoing development, or to help me offset the costs of attending BlizzCon in support of nUI and nUI's users, please visit
http://www.nuiaddon.com/donate.html and, again, my sincere thanks to everyone for their support.
Scott.
