Release News

This release is a minor update for use with the public test realms only and not for use on the live servers. It is a minor update which only addresses issues related to running nUI 5.05 on the PTR and is not in any way related to the long awaited nUI 6.0 -- It is available by logging in to WoW Interface then going to http://files.nUIaddon.com and clicking on the "nUI+ Full Version" link.

On the subject of the beta testing of nUI 6.0, it remains well behind the schedule I would have liked to be on, however, real life and work have both been conspiring to limit how much time I have available for anything other than passing out from exhaustion. That said, things are relaxing and I am finding more time for working on nUI. To that end, I expect to be releasing a PTR version of nUI that is a hybrid of the existing nUI 5.06 PTR release and the new nUI 6.0 event engine in order to test the event engine and see if it does in fact fix the performance issues some players have been experiencing. I'll release another newsletter when that test version of the event engine is ready.
