Mini World Map Removal

Is there a way to configure carbonite where it does not shrink to the mini-worldmap upon minimizing the world map. I love Carbonite but I don't really need the mini-world map, the regular world map works just fine for me.

To OP, this has litterally p*ssed me off too, but after a long time I finally found the option.
Right-click the main map and choose options.
Choose the menu Map and check; "Hide maximized map when ESC or map toggle (M) key pressed"

Now whenever you close the main map it will not show the minimized version.
