A little help from the nUI community please?

I'm reaching out to the nUI community asking for a little help related directly to nUI's ongoing development.

Long story short, nUI6 has started into Alpha testing and I've reached the point where I need to be working on graphics, updating the web site, and so on. I have done neither in many months because I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 and my Adobe Suite version is not compatible. I've been needing to upgrade my license for Adobe, but haven't been able to afford the price tag. I realize there are other tools besides Dreamweaver and Photoshop, but these are the tools I've already purchased previously and used throughout my career; that I am both familiar with and have the plugins for.

That said, if you would be willing to help with the cost of upgrading my Adobe Suite so I can get back to work on nUI's graphics and the nUI web site, I would be most grateful... please just visit http://www.nuiaddon.com/donate.html

Scott, not sure if anyone has brought this up yet or not, but what version of Windows 7 did you upgrade to? If you went higher than Home Premium, which I suspect you might have, you can go to Microsoft's download site and download two files. One is a free copy of virtual machine and the other is a prebuilt windows xp machine which you would then be able to use to run your adobe until you get the upgraded version. If you need more information just let me know and we can exchange some information to be able to chat about this more directly. I upgraded our office to Windows 7 a few months ago and we use the XP mode to run all of our older programs which are not compatible with Windows 7.

Unfortunately, I did go the cheap route due to finances being such as they are and times being such as they are. I've been experimenting with making it work in a virtual machine, too, since someone else brought that up.

It was a late night... about 3:30am when I finally crawled into bed, back up at 5:30am for work. Feeling it now But all's good and trust me on this... I appreciate the nUI community every bit as much.
