Oh and Scott... darn ChatFrameEditBox too .. hmm I wonder rofl.

Yep, ChatFrame1EditBox instead of ChatFrameEditBox rofl. Around line 230 of the ChatFrame.lua.

Xrystal, Thanks for nailing down those lines! Worked great on my bank toon, but on my other toons, I have two chat windows (general and guild). It doesn't quite fix that chat frame (not properly positioned, but I think that has more to do with the initial issue and not knowing how to properly deal with multi-tabbed chat frames at the moment), although it still allows for all the other lua files to properly load.

Talking Woot!

Thanks a ton Xrystal for those fixes, chat is still buggy (same with combat log) but, it's now playable by fixing the position of the minimap and 'panel' sections where the chat/combat logs are usually at.

I also see what you mean by those damned button frames... Am I the only one who always found mods to disable the original ones anyway? If I do that, why would I want them back and now, in their own frame!? /fmylife

Thanks nUI+ team!! I'll be checking back for some more great work.

thx for your prompt fixes Xrystal! And Scott, you are the man. I did the fixes as noted but I am wondering, with my basic coding knowledge, do we want to make the changes throughout ChatFrame.lua? (referring to the ChatFrame1EditBox fix) Because I did notice that the original "ChatFrameEditBox" was shown quite a few more times throughout. I guess it's time for me to learn .lua... =)

Temporary Patch...

The attached files are a temporary "it'll load now" fix until I get a real fix completed. You'll have to manually move and size your chat frames until I get the full fix done.

The attached files should replace the files in [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Integration > nUI_ChatFrame.lua ] and [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > InfoPanels > nUI_InfoPanel_CombatLog.lua ]

Yep, I spotted a few elsewhere rofl .. but hopefully Scotts hot fixes will mean you won't have to worry about it for a while

I applied the 2 hot fixes that were posted, but my chat windows are still not in the correct space. Moving them to the proper location causes them to overlap into the action bars on both sides. Any ideas?

Yeah -- you're kinda stuck with that until I can get the frames to move where I tell them to. For now there's no simple solution to the overlap problem which is why I don't have a full fix out yet.
