NOTE: This update is for use only with WoW Patch 3.3.5 -- if you are playing on a realm that has not yet been update to 3.3.5, you should *NOT* install this update.

This update addresses the last few key issues I'm aware of in nUI since the 3.3.5 patch. I only have one other open bug remaining and I cannot reproduce it. The key fixes in this update are the RegisterStateDriver bug in the combat log and the Skada info panel being created when Skada is not loaded. Cosmetic fixes included moving the button frame in the chat windows so it does not overlap the resize button for the window and fixing the layout of the chat frame tabs when you have more than just three tabs in the default chat frame.

If you are having problems with nUI still after installing this update, then the problem is *NOT* nUI itself... it is almost certainly related to one of your info panel plugins or to a mod that's been integrated into nUI. If you want to guarantee a clean build with nUI, please do the following...

1. Exit WoW
2. Go to your [ World of Warcraft ] directory and rename [ Interface ] to [ Interface.saved ] and rename [ WTF ] to [ WTF.saved ]
3. Log in to WoW and click the “AddOns” button at the character selection screen
4. Make sure *no* addons are listed. If there are any listed, you’re in the wrong [ World of Warcraft ] folder. Go back to step 2.
5. Close the addon window and enter the world on any toon
6. Exit WoW again
7. Install nUI 5.06.26 into your [ World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns ] folder
8. Log back into WoW on any toon and make sure nUI loads correctly now. If it doesn't you're doing something wrong.

Once you have a clean working install of nUI, you can begin installing your other mods. Install them one at a time... exit WoW, install the mod, log back in and check to make sure everything still loads correctly. If it does, exit and install the next mod. If it doesn't see if there's an update to the mod that's broken. If the broken mod is an nUI info panel plugin, remember the problem may be the addon it integrates into the info panel and not the plugin itself.

Finally, if you have having problems after this patch and need support, please post in the support forum at http://forums.nUIaddonl.com -- if you can post the error messages you're seeing and/or screen shots, that will help a great deal. You can use the paperclip icon in the forum message editor to attach your screen shot directly to the forum post or scroll down the forum message editor page to the "Manage Attachments" button to do that.

I have a clean file just as told addon clean. The chat frames arent on the right place. Allso when changing combat text and map... that appears in center will over lap the action bars.

found a bug figured i might as well post it here. I notice that the NUI_GUI interface plugin is causing an error with recount and omen.specifically the dual stats pluggin.i narrowed it down to that pluggin causing the problem when i enabled just nui and only recount omen and NUI_GUI.when i had all of them running it puts recount and omen either on diffrent panels or they are overlapping.when i disable NUI_GUI it corrected itself.just thought u would like to know.

The problem is with the nUI_GUI tool which has not been updated to WoW Patch 3.3.5 -- I don't know if the author is going to update it or not.

hi, all i did to fix this overlapping problem was, i deleted nUi from the mod folder then redownloaded it using curse client and it's working just fine

Just keep in mind that by download from Curse Client you lose all of the additional features of nUI+ -- you can update nUI (Lite) via Curse, but nUI+ can only be updated by manually updating from here at WoWI.

you're right, was thinking of skadda that i used curse to download it. but i took out the nUI+ mod from the addon folder started the game without it, then exit game redownloaded nUI mod started up the game and it's fine can use 5,10, 15, 25 & 40...

Yup playing on EU server. How can i see where it's beeing updated?

Your server will likely be updated on Wednesday (right Xyrstral? ~grin~) -- until then you should continue to use 5.06.21 and once you get the 3.3.5 patch you can update to the current version of nUI.

nUI: Config [GUI] has been updated. I've disabled the Omen / Recount stuff, so there shouldn't be any problems now. The fixed version is 30300.5.

I have already deduced that the nUI plugin responsible for the statistics and data pane (right side) to be set in the middle, overlaping the action bars and interfering with the character panels is guildchat plugin. Disable or delete it and nUI should correct itself.

I think its just more fallout from the changes to the Blizzard chat panes, only this time its setting one up specifically for guildchat, but the plugin hasn't recieved the speedy attention that the main nUI addon has.

I spent over 24 hours updating all 3 of my chat plugins. GuildChat was the 2nd one done 5 or 6 Days ago
