Hey Scott, just wanted to start out with a huge thanks for getting the raid icons(charms) into the target unit frames, but is there any way to get this added back to the top of the target bars in the hud? It's much more helpful to be able to keep focus up where the action is when trying to determine if I have the right monster targeted during a multiple monster fight.

just thought it would be worth noting that, if you go back to nui5 after testing nui6 your keybinds may be deleted, nui6 though has work for me in 3 raids so far, i plan to keep testing it in raid environments to pull out bugs

i'm starting wonder about nUI6 atm, last time i used it, to see what i was like, i was looking forward to it, but since the "i will make many updates" from scott, there hasn't been a peep, i'm still waiting for the default blizzard frames to disappear and a aura's bar to be added along with info panels, without them my screen is just to cluttered, and as a healer... thats a bad thing, another problem i am seeing is we have nui5 which, is kinda broke and at "end of life" but with no clear view of a future replacement, and now we have a new patch on the way, which i forsee will break nui5 even more, rendering nui broken and unusable.... will we see a working nui6 before 4.1? tbh with u, i'm not gonna hold my breathe.

I'm here... it's no excuse, but I've been dealing with some "life issues" that have made it difficult to work and if everyone will forgive me, I'd prefer not to get into them publicly.

It's actually kind of funny that you post this today, as it has really come to a head this weekend and I'm actually at the place this morning where I'm about to head out the door and put and end to the issue.

Again... it's no excuse. It's just the simple reality of it.

It's all good Scott, while I am waiting on a beta edition of Nui6, U take the time necessary to get things right @home then worry about a game that means little in all reality. I've tinkered with multiple UI's since last summer when I stopped using nui5( it and my pc didnt get along), but NUI6 runs MUCH better in it's current state. I quest with it and Ive ran Heroics with it without issue. I've stuck with you for a long while now and that won't change. Thanks for being a great guy who has stuck with addon development longer than many.

In all honesty, I've been thinking the same thing. That being said, with Scott's new 'update', I can wait. I know what it's like to have 'life issues', they suck, we all know it. Do what you have to do and make sure you look out for you and yours first before you even think of doing anything for us. I know that when the time is right you will be back here and plugging away as much as possible. I think you have more than proven yourself trustworthy over the year or so that I have been a faithful follower.

More than anything else, I hope you get your situation resolved to your liking and that everything works out well for you.

Look forward to seeing you back when you can manage it.

yeah life issues are a PITA but all good things come to those who wait, keep up the good work scott.

Personally, I think you should have taken the "Zygor" approach to this project if you really wanted to do it full time. Donations are just too unreliable... wildly unreliable. I don't play WoW anymore, but I would have subscribed to a nUI project if it was fulltime and I still played. I think the project just suffers otherwise and its a fantastic addon.

Before I quit playing, I was trying to re-build all the nUI elements and features that I'd liked from various individual addons, but its a complete P I T A to sort, sift, update, watch for obseletion, talk to this Dev or that, to be told to go talk to this other project dev... IMHO its worth a monthky sub, since I do not enjoy tinkering with my UI. But, its entirely up to you, I'm just making a suggestion. Zygor team does have a working subscription formula that Blizz is OK with.

with the stuff from tinyu i would start using nui6, but its still missing one thing that i found the best of any UI addon out there, and thats the info panels, if it was standalone it would be awesome, then i could use it in nui6, but anyway, still hoping to see more on the nui6 front, 4.1 is just round the corner, and 4.2 is already in the works, way things are going, nui5 is gonna end up broken and useless....

The totem bar thing is what gets me. I have gotten so use to using the totem bar for nui5 going to nui6 totally screwed me up. I love the layout a lot more i think its a lot smoother. I would love to have the info panel's back... cause the clutter is starting to get to me. But all and all the unit frames themselves look so much better.
