What you are seeing is Carbonites "Info Windows". Open Carbonites options (type "/carb options" in chat, right click the Carbonite minimap button and choose "Options" in the menu, right click a non-icon area of any Carbonite map and choose "Options" in the menu) to the "Modules" page. UNcheck the "Enable info windows" option.

You can find out more about your info window's by going to your main Carbonite folder and opening the "CarboniteReadMe" Plain text file.
