Re-post (needs to be ten plus characters long to post. Think I made it now. 8^) ):

It might be a localization problem. Try going HERE and downloading the "fixed" version. It's the link at the bottom of the September 24th "Major..." news posting on the home page. Please remember, though, that you just unzip the file to your "Interface\AddOns" folder and let it overwrite the existing Carbonite files.

You're thanks should really go to Rythal, though. Someone posted a similar error in another thread and Rythal posted that it looked like a localization problem with Carbonite 5.041. He suggested updating with the file I posted a link to and it solved the problem, so I just followed his lead.
