That error is not from Carbonite itself, but is from Titan Panel [Carbonite] which hasn't been updated since November 7, 2010 and is for WoW 4.0.1.
If you go to the addons developement site and click on the Tickets tab on the top of the page, you will find that this error has been occurring since, at least, November of 2010.
I'm guessing that it is entirely possible that this error does not happen every single time you log in to WoW. If it does not, it's probably OK to just ignore it when it does happen. After all, the version of Titan Panel [Carbonite] you are using is the most up-to-date one. If it continues to cause this error every time you log in, your only recourse is to disable the plug-in and find another way to display the Carbonite minimap button.
In case you are not aware, Carbonite does include its' very own "minimap button window" to collect the minimap buttons when you merge the maps. Open your Carbonite options to the "Map Minimap" page, and it is the second option on that page. There are display options farther down that page to adjust how it looks on your screen.
There are also at least two LDB plug-ins for the Carbonite minimap button that might work with Titan panel (since it's supposed to be a full fledged LDB display now): Broker_Carbonite on Curse.com and on WoWInterface.com. Two different authors, but they do the same basic thing. The author that has posted to WoWI says he also uses Titan Panel.
Ahhhh, the vagueries of the aging mind. Wait.... What was I saying?
