Issue with garrison mission display

Is there a way to turn off aurora for certain things? I'm finding it particularly jarring with the garrison mission window and would like to go back to the default display. Everywhere else it's fantastic.

What exactly is "jarring" about it?

I updated Real UI today, and the Garrison Mission screen background appears empty and/or black. A reload didn't fix it, maybe that was what he was refering to. If this is intentional, I would like to revert that change too.
