It would be beneficial to be able to hide and show bars while in combat. My usage case is that I have ~17 buttons that I generally don't warrant screen real estate 98% of the time (Paladin blessings, hearthstones, etc). I've bound a /bartender3 bar7 hide to a macro and have it hot keyed so I can easily show and hide the bar but even the command line option is disabled during combat.
Additionally, an optional parameter on the hide verb to suppress the chat window echo on successful command completion would be nice for cutting down chat window clutter as I goggle the bars state. |
