Would it be possible for you to add a snap to screen option to the Tidy Plates core? I'm a big fan of being able to see the nameplates at all times, and when you're fighting exceptionally large mobs, you have to adjust your view to make them display. It would be nice if the nameplate simply dropped it's position vertically so that it snapped to the top of the screen, rather than having to work around the camera.
Considerations:
• Nameplates should only snap to the screen on the y-axis, so that nameplates from behind and to the side do not come into view if you're not facing the mob.
• There would probably have to be some kind of height limit to the vertical adjustment, so that mobs that are flying (and you're not necessarily in combat with) do not show up.
I'm not sure if this kind of thing is possible anymore, but IIRC it was a feature in CTMod way back in classic WoW.
