Flagged for Future Version
|
I cannot enter the name of an alt that's on another realm, the character limit in "add name" stops me. Also, the add party button only adds the character name, not the "-Realm". While commands like "/follow Character" (without the realm name) work, the addon doesn't work with crossrealm characters.
Thanks!
(My main realm is full on one account, so I have to make one alt on another server) |

For now it's intentional that characters from other realms can't be added to the trusted list (mainly because cross-realm grouping didn't exist when I wrote Hydra), and I don't have time right now to rewrite all the parts of the addon that would need to be rewritten to add cross-realm support, so I'm flagging this as a future to-do, though I have no ETA for you, sorry.

Would love to see this as an option in the near future. I am trying to take advantage of CRZ to avoid being forced to level in a PvP environment. I am running into an issue because I can't get the alts on Shadowmoon to follow (or mount or anything else) along with the toons on Thrall.
Why am I on a PvP realm if I hate it? I'm a pet collector and a guild on Shadowmoon there is nice enough to let people join their guild to rep up and get the Thunder Cloud Serpent Hatchling they unlocked. I can't seem to find an addon that works cross realm to keep this from being miserable.

It's still on the to-do list, but I still don't have an ETA on when I will have the time or interest to rewrite the addon to support cross-realm play, sorry.
For mounting, you can just bind the same key to your mount spell/macro/addon on all characters, and use Keyclone or AutoHotkey or something to pass the keypress to all WoW clients.
For following, you can make a "/follow party1" macro and make sure your primary character is your party leader (I'm fairly certain the party leader is always "party1" for other characters in the party) and bind a key to the macro, and use Autohotkey to pass the key only to the non-focused WoW clients (eg. your alts).

I use multiple computers so that won't work for me, but good to know, thanks.
