The debuff feature is wonderful in this addon and is exactly what I need. I would like the option to turn off the buff part or possibly show the simplified buff icon Blizzard already has in the game.

If you want the default Blizzard frames, but want to be able to move or resize them, there are several other addons that will let you do that, eg. rBuffFrameStyler, ShinyBuffs, etc.
Alternatively, you can simply blacklist the long-duration buffs you don't care to see, and trust that your group members are doing their jobs. I'm not sure why you'd want to see *no* buffs at all, though.
