2.19.2 LUA Error in LFR, strsplit second parameter was null
Bug #: 8739
File: TipTop

Status: Fixed
I was running LFR today and got an lua error.
I did not save the exact error message, I'm sorry.

But the message was about the second parameter to the function strsplit beeig nil in tiptop.lua.
In version 2.19.2, strsplit is only used on line 269 in tiptop.lua.
Lua Code:
  1. -- snip
  2.             text = GameTooltipTextLeft2:GetText()
  3.             if realm then
  4.                 text = strsplit("-", text)
  5.             end
  6.             -- snip

In my error case, GameTooltipTextLeft2:GetText() returned nil, why? I don't know.
Maybe it is another addon that is modifing my tooltip, but ... is it feasable to have a newer version (when one is released) to just exit out if text is not assigned?

This is what I'm running with currently, I have not seen any negative effects
Lua Code:
  1. text = GameTooltipTextLeft2:GetText()
  2.             if not text then return end
  3.             if realm then
  4.                 text = strsplit("-", text)
  5.             end
