Tidy Plates (6.11)

Change Log:
--------------------
6.11
---------------------------
- Basically, I've given up trying to quickly patch up 6.10. I've reverted to 6.9.9, and made the changes necessary for it to work with WoW 5.3. If you want the Performance Mode stuff, grab the old version, or keep an eye out for it to be Re-Beta'd as 6.12.

These are the changes that I've migrated:
- Spell Casting Update, for WoW 5.3
- Core: Set initial fonts during Init/Hooking. Removes the possibility of :SetFont() errors.
- Combo Points: "Anticipation" fix for non-english regions

6.10.4
---------------------------
- Core: Fixed a major typo. Should fix SetStyle/Headline Mode and ClassIcon LUA errors at the very least. Might explain some of the other elusive bugs.

6.10.3
---------------------------
* Performance Mode:
By default this is NOT enabled, reverting to the older, slower, reliable method.
Using Performance Mode may break HHTD and other nameplate addons.
You may also experience 'hung' nameplates. Please report these, and try to be as
specific as possible in describing the condition of the game when it occured.

- Core: (Since 6.10.2) Performance Mode: This enables the performance improvements introduced in 6.10.
- Core: Reintegrated original Alpha locking
- Core: More reorganization, pruning of old, dead methods
- Core: Set initial fonts during Init/Hooking. Removes the possibility of :SetFont() errors. Not sure why I didn't do this years ago.
- Panel: Removal of latent "Show Minimap Icon" button code

6.10.2
---------------------------
- Panel: New Option: Performance Mode. This enables the performance improvements introduced in 6.10. By default this is NOT enabled, which uses the safer parenting method.
- Using "Performance Mode" may cause problems with other nameplate addons.

6.10.1
---------------------------
- Panel: Reverted the dropdown menu init changes from beta4. Seems to be messing up the panel.
- Core: Blizz Spell Shadow: More thoroughly hidden
- H...

Description:
--------------------
Tidy Plates enhances World of Warcraft's floating health bars - commonly known as 'nameplates' - and provides a built-in API which can be used to create your own design. This download comes with several theme packages, but many alternatives are available.

Tidy Plates 6.5.3 Threat Modes on Youtube

Tidy Plates 6.1 Demonstration on Youtube

Warcraftic's Addon Spotlight: Tidy Plates

Bug Reporting
I'd love for you to use the Curseforge Ticket System for submitting bug reports. I realize that this isn't convenient for some people, so I won't get upset if you post reports to the comment section. If you include an error log in your comment, I will probably delete that posting (after copying the information) because they're usually very long and can fill up an entire page.

Configuration
To change your theme:
Use the command, '/tidyplates' as a shortcut to the interface panel for Tidy Plates. On that panel, you'll be able to select from a list of installed themes. The theme you choose will define both the appearance and features.

To configure a theme:
Each theme is responsible for its own configuration, which means that some themes have a GUI panel and some do not. The bundled themes (Quatre, Neon, Graphite & Grey) come with a configuration tool called, Tidy Plates Hub. Shortcuts: '/hubdamage' or '/hubtank'

http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/9390.png

I'm not going to bug you by popping up an ad whenever you hit "Download".

Change Log:
--------------------
Beta5
- Combo Points: "Anticipation" fix for non-english regions? someone needs to test this, cuz I'm in an english region.
- Core: Back to hooking the base plate.
- Healertrack: Strsplit fix (thought I fixed that several months ago.. hmmm...)

Beta 4
- no clue. 3/4 asleep while working on this.

Beta 3
- probably a bug fix.

6.10 Beta 2
---------------------------
- Update to 5.3 TOC
- Core: Parenting Tidy Plates Frame to UIParent & Reanchor back to base nameplate. Performance boost.
- Core: Started Refactoring Core (This will happen over the course of WoW 5.3)
- Core: Removed the 'Spell Cast Watcher' component; 5.3 natively adds this function.

Description:
--------------------
Beta of Tidy Plates 6.10

Highlights:
- FPS Performance Boost

(Meant for 5.3, but you can TRY it on 5.2. Not sure why you'd want to, but....)

http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/9390.png

I'm not going to bug you by popping up an ad whenever you hit "Download".
Tidy Threat (2.7)

Change Log:
--------------------
2.7
- TOC Bump

2.6:
- TOC Update for WoW 4.3
- Redrawn Thermometer graphics (Higher Resolution)

2.4:
- TOC update for WoW 4.2

1.6:
* Fade and Mirror Image should display somewhat properly, now :-D
---
1.5:
* Modified /ttt reset to flush the old variables... running that command should clear bad config data, which was resulting in LUA errors.
---
I didn't do such a good job documenting changes.. oops
---
1.1:
* Now saves position/visibility/lock between sessions! :-D
* Threat Lead extension bar range has been changed from 33% to 68%.
* Clamped to screen area
* New command: /reset

Description:
--------------------
The ORIGINAL highly-suggestive interface element! Long before EPEEN was even an itch in Blizzard's pants, Tidy Threat was deflowering dozens of monitors with vertically-endowed prowess.

Tidy Threat is a simple threat monitor which is simple enough for a novice to understand, yet powerful enough for a Tank.

Simple explanation:
While in combat, the status bar grows upward indicating how "hot" the enemy thinks you are. Causing damage or casting heals will raise that level.

If you reach the mark on the thermometer, the enemy will turn and start hitting YOU. As you continue to attack, the bar can continue to rise into the RED area, indicating the amount of threat that you would need to lose in order to shed the attention of the bad guy.

If you're DPSing: Don't go into the RED!
If you're tanking: Stay in the RED!

More Complex Explanation:
The status bar shows your threat compared to the next-highest threat for the rest of your group. If you are the top threat holder, it will also show how much your threat exceeds the next highest. In other words, if you are tanking and the bar extends above the line, into the red, you've got solid aggro.

No mode changes are required for Tank vs DPS usage; The interface is universal. For additional data, players can enable the Detail Window, which will display real threat numbers.

Type '/ttt' into the chat window to bring up the configuration panel, or right-click the Tidy Threat frame.

http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/14053.png

I'm not going to bug you by popping up an ad whenever you hit "Download".

Change Log:
--------------------
1.9
- TOC Bump

1.8
------------
TOC Update for Patch 4.3

1.2
------------
Added a configuration file, where users can design their own sequences.

1.1
------------
Changed TOC file to reflect the current interface version.

Description:
--------------------
UncleMark is a teeny, tiny addon, with one simple goal: To allow a player to quickly mark targets, using just one key.

If you like the idea of Magic Marker, but find that it's too cumbersome, give UncleMark a shot; It features single-key marking of targets, in order of 'skull', 'cross', 'circle', and so on. Works great for chain-pulling through instances.

As of v1.2, the marking sequences are user-configurable; See the "UncleMark_Manual.txt file" for instructions.

Tidy Bar (5.1)

Change Log:
--------------------
5.1: ToC bump

4.9:
- TOC Update for WoW 4.3
- Updated Corner Menu artwork

4.8:
- TOC update for WoW 4.2
- Updated for 4.2 UI Changes (Keyring removal, etc)

4.7:
Hopefully fixed the vehicle bar problems when the vehicle is destroyed, AND fixed the Flyout spell bar issue

4.2:
Hopefully fixed the experience bar and corner bar resetting.

---------------------
Ch-ch-ch-changes...
---------------------
3.14: Fixed Pet Bar, as I broke it when fixing shaman bar

3.13: Fixed the shaman totem bar problem. I think.. ;-)

Release 3.5:Main menu (character/spell/etc) buttons will properly stay visible when
the vehicle interface is shown. Fixed some issues with protected function calls.
New corner menu artwork! Hope you like it; I think it makes it look a wee bit
more polished.
---------------------
Release 3.4:Still trying to make sure the bar behaves well during vehicle switching. Added scaling.
---------------------
Release 3.3:Added event monitoring for exiting a vehicle, which will immediately update the bars.
---------------------
Release 3.2:Fixed issue where pet bar background was visible when bottom bars were hidden.
--------------------
Release 3.1:Changed TOC file to reflect the current interface version.
--------------------
Release 3: The side actionbars will now show up (regardless of mouseover) when the user drags an
actionbutton. The mouseover for the bag and mainmenu bars are now linked.
Code cleaned up; Should please my fellow developers. Removed some Runebar
positioning code (which was in there by accident).
--------------------
Release 2: Added mouseover behavior to the inner right-side action buttonbar. Added a
watcher frame under the Bags and Side Buttons to catch the mouseover when the
cursor is between the buttons. Previously, when you moved your cursor into
the narrow gap between the button sets, the buttons would disappear. Also,
removed dependency on Wo...

Description:
--------------------
TidyBar is a compact replacement for your action bars. It retains the design of the standard interface, which reducing the clutter on your screen.

Central Layout: The standard action buttons are centered on the bottom of the screen, with all your additional action buttons stacked above.

Vertical Action Bars: The action bars along the right side of your screen will remain hidden until you hover your mouse over the area.

Bags and Character Buttons: The bag and Character buttons are repositioned to the bottom right corner of your screen, and will remain hidden until you hover your mouse in that area.

Note: A well-known issue occurs when trying to enable or disable an actionbar while in combat; The bars do not reposition themselves until combat has finished. This is unlikely to ever be resolved, being a restriction in Blizzard's UI system; Only Blizzard code may change the position and visibility of a secure frame during combat.

Other Issues:
The stupid rested-state bar isn't positioning itself properly. I haven't had a chance to figure out a fix.

http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/14053.png

I'm not going to bug you by popping up an ad whenever you hit "Download".
Shot Glass Raid Frames (3.1)

Change Log:
--------------------
3.1:
- TOC Bump

3.0:
- Updated for MoP

2.3:
- Tracked auras can now be assigned a custom function for color and stack text. (See ShotGlass_Druid for an example)
- Delegate functions are passed a table, 'aura', containing information about the evaluated aura: aura.color, aura.stacks, aura.expiration, aura.position, aura.name
- Changed font to Blizzard's Arial Narrow. This will make life easier for international clients, and reduces the whole ZIP package to 15kb.
- Command line has returned: /shotglass

2.1 & 2.2:
- Trying to fix the overlap bug. I've disabled the option for the frames to grow to the right, until it's fixed.

2.0:
+ TOC Bump for 4.3
+ Auras will display a countdown from 5 seconds (it will replace stack-count text, temporarily)
+ Added GUI Interface panel
+ Added quick link to interface panel, via right-click on the drag handle
- Removed slash commands, except for /shotglass (which will bring up the new interface panel)

1.15:
Merely a TOC bump for 4.2

1.14:
DUH! When you bump the TOC, then you should do it correctly. /facepalm

1.13:
Merely a TOC bump for 4.1

1.12:
Bug Fix: Priority bug.
Integrated ShotGlass_Priest.

1.11:
Implemented slash-commands. See readme.txt for a list of commands.

0.10:
Bug Fix: Priority Bug.

0.9:
Added Vehicle Support, Spell Priority, External Configuration for Auras.

0.4-0.8:
Clique Support, Bug fixes, Incoming Heals.

0.3:
Bug Fix: Certain events reset the attributes of the unit frame, breaking the link. This update will restore those links when attributes are changed.

Description:
--------------------
Shot Glass is a lightweight raid frame, which can be configured to show specific Aura Indicators, in addition to Health, Incoming Healing, Mana, Aggro, Range, and Target.

No Libraries are used, and the code is very simple, which makes it a nice learning tool for people who are learning to program their own raid frames.

Feature Highlights

Incoming Heals: You'll see incoming heals as a subtle, semi-transparent bar, indicating the future health of the unit.
Aura Indicators: Along the top edge of each unit frame, there are three circular indicators. On the bottom edge, there are three triangular indicators. Stacks are displayed below the indicator.
Aggro Indicator: A red border will light up around any unit that acquires aggro.
Range: Units out of your range will shrink in size.
Mana: Only mana is indicated; Rage, Runic Power, Energy, etc are not shown.

Aura Configuration
I've included two configuration files with the current package. (For Druid and Priest) Feel free to use those files as a template for your own customization.

The configuration file is simply an addon with "## Dependencies: ShotGlass" in the TOC file. You can access the 'TrackedAuras' table from your LUA file. Alternatively, you can edit the included file. An example:

local TrackedAuras = ShotGlassRaidFrames.TrackedAuras

TrackedAuras = {position = 1, color = {r = .8,g = 0, b = .8, a = 1},}-- Rejuvenation
TrackedAuras = {position = 1, color = {r = .8,g = 0, b = .8, a = 1},}

Note: You can find the spell ID# from Wowhead.

Character Profiles
The "Addon" button on your Character Selection Screen will allow you to Enable or Disable the Aura List for each character.

http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/14053.png

I'm not going to bug you by popping up...
