No More Duel/Drunk Spam (1.03)

Change Log:
--------------------
12/01/2012 - v1.03 - Updated TOC and version number. No code changes.

09/11/2012 - v1.02 - Updated TOC and version number. No code changes.

12/01/2011 - v1.01 - Updated TOC and version number. No code changes.

09/29/2011 - v1.00 - Updated TOC and version number. No code changes.

11/07/2010 - v0.41 - Added localizations for Chinese (Simp) and German. No code changes.

11/06/2010 - v0.40 - Now eliminated Drunkenness spam as well. Localized for a bunch of languages.

11/04/2010 - v0.20a - No code updates, just fixed the zip file so the addon files are in a folder. Thanks Pomr!

11/01/2010 - v0.20 - Added Count function

10/30/2010 - v0.10 - Initial Release

Description:
--------------------
No Duel/Drunk Spam

NoDuelSpam suppresses Duel Won, Duel Ran Away and Drunkenness messages from appearing in your chatbox.

On my server, in Dal and anywhere there's an event going on, there is a constant flood of "Soandso has defeated JimBob in a duel" type messages. This addon suppresses those. You simply won't see them.

At the request of some users, as of version 0.40, NDS also suppresses the Drunkenness spam messages as well. It will only suppress those dealing with others, your own will still show up. (Useful mostly during brewfest!)

NoDuelSpam slash commands

/nds ver shows the version number
/nds count shows how many spam messages NDS has blocked

Localization
As of version 0.41, NDS is functionally localized for:

English (enUS, enGB)
Spanish (esES)
Spanish (esMX)
French (frFR)
German (deDE)
Russian (ruRU)
Korean (koKR)
Chinese, Simpt (zhCN)
Chinese, Trad (zhTW)

By "Functionally localized", I mean it will supress spam messages for users running clients in those languages. The Help and Status Menus are not localized at this time. If anyone would care to submit a localization for the menus, or for a language not listed, please do!

Localization note: I am 99% certain the European languages will work, 90% certain the Russian will work and 75% certain the AP languages will work.

Apendix A: Drunkenness messages suppressed

"%s is looking sober from the %s."
"%s seems a little tipsy from the %s."
"%s is getting drunk off of %s.";
"%s is completely smashed from the %s."
"%s seems to be sobering up."
"%s looks tipsy."
"%s looks drunk."
"%s looks completely smashed."

WhisperNotify (1.18.3)

Change Log:
--------------------
12/01/2012 - v1.18.3
- Updated TOC for WoW 5.1

09/11/2012 - v1.18.2
- Updated TOC for WoW 5.0x

12/01/2011 - v1.18.1
- Updated TOC for WoW 4.3

10/02/2011 - v1.18
- Updated TOC for WoW 4.2

11/29/2010 - v1.17b
- Redid the sound system - Now uses it's own sound files instead of the system sounds. Custom sounds available by replacing the "custom.mp3" file with the sound you want to use.

11/21/2010 - v1.16b
- Should now trigger on BattleNet(RealID) whispers as well. NEEDS TESTING!
- New Config Option - Time Between sounds - This keeps the sound from playing repeatedly if you've got a series of whispers coming in quick sequence.
- New Config Option - Sound to play - Choose which system sound to play.
Note: If you want custom sounds for your chat messages, I suggest the addon "ChatSounds", available on WowInterface
- Added Optional Dependancy to the TOC to make sure ChatSounds is loaded first if you are using it, this allows ChatSounds to hook the events first.

11/14/2010 - v1.15
- Fixed combat suppresion bug (I hope!)
- Added config GUI. Go to Game Menu - Interface - Addons - WhisperNotify to configure. All of the old command line options are still in place for now.
- In my personal opionion there is something wrong with a system where the code for the config needs to be twice the size of the actual program code...
- The Font, along with it's color, size and alpha(transparency) can now be set, but only from the GUI, not the command line.
- Small oddity: if the Alpha is less than fully opaque, the message will go fully opaque just before it fades out. Dunno why yet.
- Another small oddity: If the font size is raised above a certain size (30 on my system), the game ignores it and continues to disply at 30. I think this has something to do with the UI Scaling. Not sure if I can do anything about this.

11/12/2010 - v1.12b - Beta Version

11/09/2010 - v1.11b - Code and internal variable cleanup in prep for config GUI. Not r...

Description:
--------------------
WhisperNotify

WhisperNotify displays Whispers sent to you in the middle of the screen with a fadeout, ala combat style, message and an optional audio alert.

I tend to overlook Whispers if I'm not specifically watching my chat box, especially Whispers from NPCs during quests. Hence, this little addon. The messages still show up in your chat box, they just also appear in the message area of your screen.

It will remember your settings separately for each character and set itself when loaded.

GUI based config with new options in version 1.15!

WhisperNotify slash commands

You can use /wn or /whispernotify

/wn - shows help
/wn ver - shows the version number
/wn reset - resets all options to defaults.
/wn on - turn WhisperNotify on for the current character
/wn off - turn WhisperNotify off for the current character
/wn silent - toggles alert sound on/off for the current character
/wn status - displays the WhisperNotify Status for the current character
/wn style - toggles bewteen the default and compact display styles
/wn test - sends a test whisper to the on screen diplay
/wn time S - sets time whispers stay on screen before starting to fade to S seconds (default is 5)
/wn fade S - sets time whispers take to fade out to S seconds (default is 2)
/wn move X Y - sets the offset of the frame from the center of the screen
/wn resize W H - sets the size the frame. Default is 600 x 200

To Do

Localization
Configurable Sound
Control Outline on fonts
Possibly add other chat types
Change Log:
--------------------
12/01/2012 - v1.00
-Updated TOC for WoW 5.1
-Decided that since it's been working gor a year, it's really not a beta any more.

09/04/2012 - v0.06b
-Updated TOC for WoW 5.04

12/01/2011 - v0.05b
-Updated TOC for WoW 4.3

09/29/2011 - v0.04b
-Released to WowInterface

08/20/2011 - v0.03b
-Fixed posessive form of It in the tables.

08/19/2011 - v0.02b
-Updated TOC for 4.2. Checked functions.

04/08/2011 - v0.01b
-Initial Beta

Description:
--------------------
EatIt

EatIt is a humorous addon that I wrote for my Worgen toons, although it would probably go well with an Undead toon as well. There's nothing, other than good taste, to prevent you from using it with any toon though.

What it does is do a random emote about your toon either eating or wanting to eat your target. The emotes are different depending on if your target is a player or an NPC, if a player, on whether they are dead or alive and if an NPC, what kind of mob they are. Pronouns of the proper gender are used.

As an example, if WolfGuy were to target his gnome party member, LittleGuy, who is alive, and click his EatIt macro button, you might see something like this:

WolfGuy looks at LittleGuy and licks his lips. Mmm... Gnome Soup!"

Or if WolfGirl were to target her gnome party member, LittleGuy, who is now dead, and click her EatIt macro button, you might see something like this:

WolfGirl wonders if anyone will notice if she nibbles LittleGuy a bit before they resurrect him.

Or, targeting a dead dungeon mob:

Wolfgirl cuts a piece off of Ancient Guardian and chews it slowly. Mmmmm smokey!

There are 4-6 different emotes for each creature type in the game. Some of them are the same. There is no in game config. If you want to include your own emotes, see the remarks in the localization.lua file. (If you come up with any good ones, send them to me!)

EatIt slash commands

/eatit - shows help
/eatit ver - shows the version number
/eatit eat - does an emote (Put this in a macro to use)

To Do

Full Localization
Change Log:
--------------------
12/01/2011 - v0.21 - Updated TOC and Version number. No Code changes.

Description:
--------------------
FaceRoller Demon 'Lock

This is a Demonology Warlock module for Faceroller. You will need Faceroller 0.2.9 and the Faceroller 1.2.1 patch to use this.

This is a beta module. It works for me, your milage may vary. It is a complete re-write of an old module by Mieeka.

The following rotation is used. Taken from Elitest Jerks with additions based on various forums.

Shadowbolt (Only if Shadow Trance is active to give you a freebie)
Lifetap (if you are below 10,000 mana)
Curse of Elements (If it or an equiv from another class is not already there)
Curse of Weakness (If someone else's CoE or equiv is already on the mob OR you manually put CoW on already for certain fights)
Metamorphosis (If avail and option is on)
Demon Soul (if avail and you have a Felguard out)
Immolate (if not up or about to expire)
Hand of Gul'dan (if not up or about to expire)
Demon Soul (if avail and you have a Felhunter out)
Bane of Doom (If not up or about to expire and BoA is not up) (Longer fights)
Bane of Agony (If not up or about to expire and your BoD is not up) (Short fights)
Corruption (if not up or about to expire)
Incinerate - on Molten Core proc
Soul Fire - on Decimation proc
Shadow Bolt - "filler" Spam it until something else comes up.

Note: Melee abilities (Shadowflame/Immolation Aura) will not be suggested. I have yet to find a way to tell if you are in melee combat (as oposed to ranged) and the question of if it's SAFE to use these abilities is really one you have to make.

Slash commands

/faceroller opt meta - toggles Meta usage on/off

To Do
[L...

This is a beta version of WhisperNotify, put up for those who volunteered to help beta test. It all works on my system, but use at your own risk. If you're not willing to play with beta code and make informed, polite issue reports, please use the production release at the link above.

Changes:

11/29/2010 - v1.17b
- Redid the sound system - Now uses it's own sound files instead of the system sounds. Custom sound available by replacing the "custom.mp3" file with the sound you want to use.

Note: If you were using the 1.16beta, you WILL need to reset the sound used.

11/21/2010 - v1.16b
- Should now trigger on BattleNet(RealID) whispers as well.

This is not an addon, it is a listing of color codes of use to those writing addons.

This is a list of the default colors for all of the chat channels, usable with any of the assorted API functions that set the color of wow interface elements.

The zip file contains a Microsoft Excel file and an CSV file, both contain the same data.

I needed this list and couldn't find it, so I created it.
iGratz Fan Update (4.00)

iGratz for WoW version 4.01

The original author, Fithin, is back and has released a completely updated version, compatible with WoW 4.01 and with lots of nifty new features. Please go here and download his version. I will not be updating this one.

Addon version 4.0.0

This is a Fan Update of Fithin's excellent iGratz addon. Despite the 4.01 compatiable tag on the original, it is not, so I hit it with a code hammer until it worked (for me at least). I'm placing it here in case anyone else is missing it.

Fixed:
Assorted errors caused by Blizzard's changes to LUA
Addon no longer sends congratz when it's you that gets the achivement. (Not sure why this started happening, I think Blizz changed who gets the announcements. Or, I might have caused it with another fix. In any case, it shouldn't do it any more. )
I understand that Fithin is back form his RL adventures and will be updating his addons again. Once he officially updates iGratz, I will take this one down (Or sooner if he asks me to).

All credit for this addon, the image at right and the rest of this description go to Fithin.

iGratz is a simple text based add-on that will automatically congratulate your guild members when they get a new Achievement it will use one of the built-in messages, or you can create some of your own. Just install to the add-on directory and off you go. This add-on uses less than 10kb of memory, and really does liven up your guild mates achievements. If your guild mates get multiple achievements it will only fire off once every 5 seconds. So if they receive 2 or 3 or more within 5 secs they will only get one congratulatory message, Or if you have say your entire guild get an achievement it will only congratulate the first person to receive it, then will congratulate more after the 5 second mark, if lagg causes some of them to register later than others.

Below is a list of commands that have been implemented:

iGratz Commands:
/iGratz help - this informational guide.
/iGratz list - lists all messages.
/iGratz print
- test the specificed message.
/iGratz remove
- remove the specified message.
/iGratz add <message> - add the message.
Note: Be certain to use '#player' in your message in the place where the actual player's name will display.
/iGratz Whisper to send the Congrats directly to the player.
/iGratz Guild to send the Congrats in Guildchat.
/iG Time3 - /iG Time10 to set the delay time to between 3 - 10 seconds.
Note: Example /iG Time5 sets the delay to 5 seconds.
/iG Random to set the delay time to a random delay between 4 - 15 seconds.");

Cirk's Badapples - Fan Update (3.2.0.F)

NOTICE: This is a Fan Update of an add-on by Cirk. This is being posted to fix the LUA error on login to a toon and update the TOC to ver 3.3.x. Since Cirk appears to have gone walkabout and he has turned off the ability to upload patches to his stuff, I will leave this here until he returns or Blizzard patches (breaks) something I can't fix.

Badapples allows you to record the names (and optional reasons) of players you've encountered (or even been told about) who are, shall we say not the most sterling examples of social and gaming etiquette in action, and whom you'd really rather avoid grouping with, or dealing with at all ever again. Badapples is an alternative to ignore in that you will still see everything relating to that player as you would have before, but you will now have visual feedback to help you distinguish the badapples from the good. Badapples maintains its list of player names on a per server basis, so you won't need to add the same player again for each of your own characters.

Some of the features of Badapples are:

Highlights the name of players seen in chat if they are Badapples (and shows their status with reason if you click on the player's name in the chat frame).
Highlights the name of players in your target box if they are Badapples.
Highlights the name of players in your mouseover Tooltip if they are Badapples.
Allows you to choose the color used for the highlighting of player names.
Gives you a warning message with the names of party members who are on your Badapples list (or on your Ignore list) when you join a party (or when they join).
Gives you a warning message with the names of any raid members who are on your Badapples list (or on your Ignore list) when you join a raid (or when they join).
Shows a confirmation popup if you are about to invite someone who is on your Badapples or Ignore lists.
Shows a different invitation popup if you are being invited by someone on your Badapples list.
Provides a new tab in the social window next to the Friends and Ignore tabs for easy viewing and management of your Badapples list. (Alternative tab positions at the bottom of the social window or on the right side are still supported if you prefer).

Badapples also does not perform any checks on player names passed to it, so you can even add the names of players from the "other" side (Horde names if you are Alliance for example) to help keep track of them as well. However it does only check for player names that match those in its list, so although you can add NPC names, it won't ever show them in the highlights as actually being Badapples).

Badapples slash commands
Badapples supports the following slash commands (also available as /bad):

/badapples help shows these options.
/badapples list shows the list of player names in your Badapples list.
/badapples show brings up the Badapples list social window (useful if you turn off the social tab).
/badapples add <playername> adds a player to your Badapples list.
/badapples remove <playername> removes a player from your Badapples list.
/badapples check <playername> or /badapples status <playername> shows whether this player is on your Badapples list or not.
/badapples removeall allows you to remove all players from your Badapples list.
/badapples color allows you to set the highlight color that Badapples uses to flag players on your list.
/badapples notab disables the Badapples social tab.
/badapples toggletab allows you to toggle the Badapples social tab between the friends, bottom, and side positions.

I hope you find it useful!

-- Cirk of Doomhammer

Cirk's Ammocheck - Fan Update (3.2.0.F)

NOTE: Since Ammo has been done away with as of Patch 4.01, this add-on will not be updated for Cataclysm and has been retired.

Do you find yourself forgetting to stock up on arrows, shot, or throwing weapons before you go running off to meet your party or sneak into an instance? Then maybe you need Ammocheck! Ammocheck checks the amount of whatever ammunition you currently have equipped (arrows, shot, or thrown) whenever you finish trading with a merchant or start talking to a flight master and gives you a warning message if the level falls below your preferred limit. Ammocheck can also be enabled or disabled on a per character basis, and automatically disables itself for any class that can't use thrown or ranged weapons.

Ammocheck will only check for ammunition in your bags that works with the ranged weapon you currently have equipped (i.e., bullets for guns, arrows for bows and crossbows, or other thrown weapons if you have a thrown weapon equipped). So if you switch between weapon types you may see a warning from Ammocheck about your current weapon ammunition even when you have enough ammunition for your other (not equipped) weapon. And if you don't have a ranged weapon equipped at all, Ammocheck won't give you any warnings!

Ammocheck slash commands
Ammocheck supports the following options for those classes that can use it:

/ammocheck help shows these options.
/ammocheck on enables Ammocheck for your current character (the default until you change it).
/ammocheck off disables Ammocheck for your current character.
/ammocheck set # or simply /ammocheck # where # is a number, sets the count of ammunition below which Ammocheck will give you warnings.
/ammocheck status shows you whether Ammocheck is enabled and what your current limit is.

Enjoy
-- Cirk

Cirk's Aspects - Fan Update (3.2.0.F)

NOTE: Since Hunters and Shamans now get an aspect bar as part of the basic Blizzard UI as of patch 4.01, this add-on will not be updated for Cataclysm and has been retired.

Aspects is an addon that places your hunter's aspects or shaman's Ghostwolf up above the default Blizzard action bars in the same place that the stealth button for a rogue, stances for a warrior, forms for a druid, and auras for a paladin are shown. It also replaces the default Blizzard stealth, stances, forms, and auras with its own scalable and moveable version.

For hunters, druids, and paladins, Aspects provides the ability to change which spells are shown by Aspects, and in what order, using the /aspect set command. It also moves the pet action bar over to the right by enough space to fit in your aspects, so you may need to reduce your scaling size if you run out of room.

You can also unlock the Aspects bar and reposition it wherever you want on the screen, rather than leaving it at the default location. Doing so however will stop Aspects from automatically adjusting the pet bar position.

Aspects's slash commands
Aspects supports the following slash commands:

/aspect help shows these options.
/aspect on enables Aspects for your current character (the default if you are hunter or shaman).
/aspect off disables Aspects for your current character.
/aspect scale changes the scaling of the Aspects buttons.
/aspect list shows the spells you and Aspects know.
/aspect set
<#|on|off> sets order and visibility of your aspect spells (hunter, druid, paladin only).
/aspect reset resets the order and visibility of your aspect spells (hunter, druid, paladin only).
/aspect toggle <on|off> allows you to set whether your spells toggle on and off which each click of the same button, or not (hunter, paladin, shaman only)
/aspect unlock unlocks the Aspect bar so you can move it.
/aspect lock locks the Aspect bar in its new position.
/aspect auto resets the Aspect bar back to its default (automatic) position.
/aspect status shows you whether Aspects is enabled or not currently, and how much addon memory it is using.

What hotkeys will it use?
Aspects uses the same keys as the equivalent shapeshift buttons would use, which for a windows client would be CTRL-F1, CTRL-F2, etc. For easy reference, the hotkeys corresponding to each Aspects button will show up at the bottom right of the tooltip that you see when you mouseover the aspects buttons.

You can change the assigned keys easily under the Key Bindings option of the main menu - look for the Special Action Button entries, and change them to whatever you'd like. Note that since those buttons are also used for other class skills (such as for a rogue's Stealth) you may want to make any changes to these key bindings character specific by checking the box on the top-right of the Key Bindings screen.

Notes
If you are using Blizzard's default UI layout and are using tabbed chat frames, you might find that you need to move your chat window up a bit to fit the shapeshift bar in under the chat frame. You can do this by right clicking on the General tab at the top of the chat frame, selecting Unlock, then left-clicking and dragging on the General tab to move the chat windows where they won't be in the way. After you are done, right-click on the General tab again and select Lock to relock your windows again!

If you can't see the General tab at the top of your chat window when you mouse over the chat window, your chat windows might have been locked from being changed. To unlock them, open the Main menu (via the ESC key) and select Interface, chose the Chat option, and clear the Lock Chat Settings option. After you have moved your chat frame, you can relock them again if you want.

Localization
Currently Aspects only has locale information for its text entry and reporting in US english, but its ready to support other client languages - all I need are the appropriate translations for the entries in the localization.lua file. So if you'd like to see it working in your local language, please have a go at modifying this file, and when you think its all working for you, post it here and I'll merge it into the official version!

Note that Aspects should still work on all clients, even if it doesn't show its help and other text in your local language.

Enjoy!
-- Cirk of Doomhammer

Silent XT (1.0)

This is a set of sound replacements to silence the new Lil' XT pet.

Please note: Since the pet uses the same sound files as the real XT002 Deconstructor, this will silence the real one as well. There's no way around that without LUA codeing that I am not capable of (yet).

CATACLYSM NOTE: These sound mods work with the Cataclysm Beta as of Wow version 4.01 (12857)(Test) Aug 27, 2010

Unlike other sound mods that use a corrupt .wav file accomplish the feat, this uses properly formatted silent .wav files.

Nine files are present

UR_XT002_Adds01.wav
UR_XT002_Aggro01.wav
UR_XT002_Berserk01.wav
UR_XT002_Death01.wav
UR_XT002_HeartClose01.wav
UR_XT002_HeartOpen01.wav
UR_XT002_Slay01.wav
UR_XT002_Slay02.wav
UR_XT002_Special01.wav

DIRECTIONS:
This does not install like a normal Addon. If a linux user wants to post the proper file path, I'll add it in.

Thanks to the authors of AudioX II for enableing me to find the right files.

Thanks to whomever did the gunshot sound mod for letting me know you could change sounds in the first place!

Enjoy!
