Change Log:
--------------------
1.2 Update for cataclysm
1.1 Code simplification
1.0 Initial release

Description:
--------------------
Boing

You will hear a sound when casting a spell out of range.
Since casters already have an in-game sound, this addon is more suitable for melee dps.

Type "/boing on" or "/boing off" to enable or disable.
Type "/boing whip" or "/boing boing" to change sound.

Ecopower (1.0)

Ecopower (Discontinued)

This very small and lightweight addon will automatically limit and unlimit your framerate.

- in combat or when walking around: ecopower will set to 'high fps'
- standing still, not in combat: ecopower will set to 'low fps'

This way, you should never really notice the lower dps.

Command to change the values: /ecopower
Example: /ecopower 60 30

Why?

A lot of new computers have powerful video cards and generate way too much frames per second.
I have seen my computer render up to 400 frames per second.
So, I always try to limit this for the following reasons:

- your computer uses less power (good for nature nd the bill)
- your graphics card and cpu produce less heat
- your fans turn slower and produce less noise

Why not use vsync instead?
Because Ecopower can give you an active fps of >60 and an idle fps of <60, given that 60 is your refresh rate. On a 100Hz screen for example, you could set Ecopower to 100 when active and 40 when inactive.

Known Issues

- fps values are not 100% accurate, meaning setting it to 60 can produce a rate of 63. This is not my fault.
- fps rate of 8 is the minimum. Again, this is set by Blizzard.
- if your fps is still limited after uninstall, use this command: /console maxfps 0
