Description:

Addon that monitors raid instances for characters inside.

The primary purpose is to keep track of raid instances for transmog or achievement runs. If you are out of town it is kind of hard to learn about a group forming for that kind of runs. This addon points out any characters it finds in instances you are interested in.
Since you might barge in on closed guild runs or people minding their own business please be tactful when contacting them about joining. :-)

Features

Monitor selected raid instances for characters inside.
Monitoring can happen cyclic via interval time (configure interval of 1..120 min) or manually on click.
Sound and/or text notifications when characters are found in tracked instance that was previously empty.
Optionally exclude saved instances from monitoring.
Whisper characters directly by using the 'Whisper' button in log window. No problems with tricky names with accents, umlauts and other creative spelling.
DataBroker support.
Profile support for settings.

Install

Copy the Argus folder to your Interface\AddOns directory.

Commands

Usage

In options select raids to search for and activate monitoring to start.
Click on addons broker entry or minimap button for interaction (or use slash commands listed above)
- Right-click - Open options menu.
- Left-click - Open log window which is listing all characters found in tracked instances.
- Alt-Left-click - Activate/deactivate monitoring.
Whisper players through the log window.

Broker: Raid Finder - A broker addon that monitors trade and lfg channels in major cities for raid offers. Supports remote search through friends and guild mates.

Features -

Monitor General, Trade and LookingForGroup channels in major cities for raid offers.
Remote search. With activated addon communication option guild mates, mutual friends and battlenet friends using this addon will monitor city channels for you while you are out of town and inform you about the results.
Cross-character support. Hits made on one character are available on all your characters of the same faction.

Plug-in support to extend addon functionality. Comes bundled with 2 Plugins:

BRF Forwarder: Forwards LFG messages to all users of the plugin so they can track raid offers as long as one of them is in a major city.
BRF Forwarding Tracker: Keeps track of messages forwarded by LFGForwarder and TradeForwarder and feeds them to the addon.

Option 'Message Filters' - Applies chat filters such as spam filters introduced by other addons before processing messages. Recommended when using forwarding plugins to make sure you are not reported for forwarding spam.
Option 'Filter Matches' - Removes matches made by the addon from being shown in the chat windows.

Port to Broker and upgrade to Ace3 of Wobin's old "Fubar - XPFu".

Displays Infos about XP and watched Faction and adds bars for XP and/or reputation to your Broker bar addon.
Select custom colors for bars or use predefined colors based on standing for the reputation bar.

You can attach the bars to (almost) any frame by click selecting the desired anchor frame with the mouse (similar to Xparky). You can attach the bars to any side of the frame on outside as well as on the inside. Adjust anchor position by setting X- and Y-Offset.

USAGE HINTS -

* Activating Broker: XPBar in your Broker display will show up the label text in that display only. To display the actual bars you will need to attach them to a frame on your screen first. To do this go to Options->Frame and click the button "Select by Mouse". Select the frame to attach the bars to by left-clicking on it and the bars should show up.

* If you are trying to attach to a Broker display make sure you hit an empty spot on the display. If you click on another plugin on the display the bars will attach to the frame of this Broker plugin only.

* If you use Docking Station and want to attach to it's panels you need to make sure you have the Global option (Panels -> General) enabled for the panel you want to connect to.

Usage -

To attach bars to a frame open the option menu and select the "Frame" category. Click button "Hook to Frame". The mouse cursor gets highlighted and shows the frame name as tooltip for each frame it hovers over. Left-click on desired frame to attach the bars to. Right-click will disable the selection cursor. Frame names may also be entered manually in the edit box. Use the option "Attach to" to select the side (Top or Bottom) of the frame where you want the bars. Fine adjust the position by using the Offset settings if needed. The "Jostle" option displaces the blizzard frames by the width of the bars. This should only be used with frames on the upper and lower edge of the screen and not with free floating frames!
