Change Log:
--------------------
tag v3.8.9
9634adde8d8f72f977572f4bb918586544f88c02
Shadowed
2013-05-21 09:33:15 -0400

Tagging as release v3.8.8

--------------------

Shadowed:
- TOC 50300
- Don't bother reparenting power bars, not worth the hassle
- Typo
- Don't reparent PaladinPowerBar too

tag v3.8.7
07d55c8e6d1f9e3eff3ef011ec70b1f6ea06388b
Shadowed <shadowed.wow@gmail.com>
2013-04-28 09:26:43 -0700

Tagging as release 3.8.7

--------------------

Shadowed:
- Just keep the priest bar hidden rather than reparenting it
- Tweaks to default Blizzard UI hiding

tag v3.8.6
c4686cbc0ded4bf907c36dfa794d5cffca8ee600
Shadowed <shadowed.wow@gmail.com>
2013-03-19 11:50:33 -0700

Tagging as release 3.8.6

--------------------

Shadowed:
- Removed togglemenu shiv, sent a patch to Clique as it's a better fix - Don't clear group frames on initial setup
- Readd RuneFrame to the list of hidden power bars Changed power bars to not taint to hide, and also try reparenting to force them to stay hidden
- Fixed boss unit typo
- It seems that boss units are now real units and get events, so hopefully OnUpdate is no longer necessary
- Remove rune frame from power bar hider as it causes taint issues now
- Fixed Stagger bar being reset on reload

tag v3.8.5
02c6cbe3f4202991a66e100c09246adddf0841ca
Shadowed <shadowed.wow@gmail.com>
2013-03-13 07:05:07 -0700

Tagging as release v3.8.5

--------------------

Shadowed:
- Removed debug
- Once more to force a repackage
- Force packager to rerun

tag v3.8.4
40e14f15e8f225f864c0e9eb2a0d2cd04cc5d150
Shadowed <shadowed.wow@gmail.com>
2013-03-10 09:46:32 -0700

Tagging as release v3.8.4

--------------------

Shadowed:
- Incoming heals/absorbs now update against frequent health events and should look smoother
- Fixed frame level bugs that showed up on the raid/party frames for incoming heals/abosrbs

tag v3.8.3
0ba157e776e9f364c28d934a9c6ccfd...

Description:
--------------------
SUF focuses on a simple configuration while maintaining the flexibility that most users will care about, preventing unnecessary bloating of the addon that sacrifices performance. While you aren't going to be able to set the health bar to be exactly 3.14 pixels outside of the unit frames, you can change options you actually care about such as bar height, ordering, frame height and so on. To speed up configuration, you can configure multiple units at the same time through the global configuration. For example, if you want to set the height of the Player, Target, Focus and Party frames to 50 then the height of Target's Target, Target's Target of Target, Focus Target to 30 you can easily do this by changing two options instead of having to do it seven times.

However, should you need a little bit of extra configuration do not despair! An advanced option is included that will unlock additional configuration giving finer control over the configuration.

Slash commands: /shadoweduf (/suf)

Donations
Donations are not required, but are appreciated!

https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donateCC_LG.gif

Anchoring
Are you driven crazy by your party frames not aligning up exactly with your player frames, even if it's only half a pixel off? The anchoring system will let you solve all alignment issues, by allowing you to anchor a frame to another and set a simple offset from the frame it is anchored to, or by manually setting the X/Y position of the frame.

Using the screen shot as an example, if you drag the player frame the other frames will move with the player frame preserving the alignment and spacing. Each frame can still be manually positioned wherever you want, but this gives you a way of easily anchoring and moving frames around without having to use a ruler.

...

Afflicted3 (2.3.2)

Change Log:
--------------------
Version 2.3.2 (3/9/13)

Added in code to merge in a proper anchor on spell database update to avoid future problems and properly updated spell database so that life cocoon and combat readiness will respond properly.

Version 2.3.1 (3/9/13):

Work around for error popping up due to combat readiness and life cocoon ending early and not being assigned to proper anchors.

Version 2.3.0 (3/7/13):

Added general monk cooldowns, also tagged all appropriate spells with the "buff" type
Attempted to correct two general errors that seem to be caused by zoning issues where the combat log isn't reporting a source
Fixed icons not fading when abilities fade early, also corrected for bars (though it was only a select few spells).

Version 2.2.6 (8/30/12):

Fixed the ability to turn off icons when using bars
Corrected a seen issue when upgrading spell database versions
Changed two default initialization values

Version 2.2.5 (8/29/12):

Corrected an error in the GTB library that was causing icons to not display properly in bar mode. This was brought about by new functionality in the GetTexture API call. Testing during a single level 8X BG showed the proper icons for the abilities.

Version 2.2.4 (8/27/12):

Updated all spells and added new ones, lots of spell changes brought about by 5.0.4

Version 2.2.3 (8/25/12):

Increased the spells database version

Version 2.2.2 (8/12/12):

Initial bugfixes for Cata:

Updated Libraries
Removed non existent spells and totems
Removed old spell from the test
Added likely incorrect localizations so that the classes field could be populated for Monks

Have not had time to test extensively yet

Version 2.2.1 (1/6/12):

*Redone spells, might not have gotten all of them put in that people may want, but the durations and CDs, as well as spells new to Cata (like rebuke and skull bash) have been added into the default.

-Note that this will not effect people who have already used that addon, as the spells...

Description:
--------------------
Afflicted is an enemy spell timer mod for PvP (mainly arenas). This is for people who just want useful information, such as an interrupt is on cool down and you're
safe to cast a heal or that Blessing of Freedom is going to be back up for an enemy Paladin soon. If you want to know the cool down of an obscure ability say Whirlwind then this is not the mod for you. New timers for abilities that are not included by default can easily be added under the configuration. However, the system is flexible enough that any enemy timer can be added including traps or totems.

Alerts for when a spell is triggered (or ends), as well as when you interrupt or dispel an enemy are included. All alerts can be shown inside party, raid, raid warning, combat text or a specified chat frame.

Slash command: /afflicted

NOTE: Dispel and interrupt announcements will not be part of Afflicted come next push (when 3.2 goes live), they have been broken off into Purgeatory

https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donateCC_LG.gif

Unlike the old version, you can now use this for all units not just raid members, and it's not restricted to only friendly players. You can set it up to show an indicator on the player frame while Slice and Dice is up, or show an indicator on an enemy if they are Cycloned.

Indicators can be configured to show an aura stack, show an indicator for missing auras, show the aura icon, show a set color and even the duration on the aura. If you want to see the time left on the aura as a visual number you will need a mod like OmniCC. Auras can be enabled per class as well, should you want to see players missing Mark of the Wild on a Druid but not on a Priest. There is no limit on the amount of auras or indicators you can have.

By default, this is only enabled on raid units. You can enable it for more units by going to /suf -> Aura indicators -> Enable by unit.

Slash commands: Opened with /suf (/shadowedunitframes), adds new configuration option "Aura indicators"

Mainly this is for hybrid classes that want to be able to respec without spending 10-20 minutes setting their action bars up. All you do is type /abs save
and it'll save the location of all your spells, macros and items.

For example, if you're currently a Feral Druid you can type /abs save feral then you can respec to Resto and setup your bars, then type /abs save resto once you go respec back to Feral you can then train all your spells again and type /abs restore feral and you'll get your feral setup without all the work of actually finding where you placed things.

Works with any custom interface like Bongos provided you're not using more then the standard 120 action buttons, ones that provided features to go past 120 will cause only the standard 120 to be saved/restored. This isn't a bug however, just a limitation in the WoW API

Quick Auctions 3 (v3.1)

Change Log:
--------------------
Shadowed:
- Fix positioning of tradeskill frame
- Fixes for 4.3
- Fix tradeskill button positioning
- Should make canceling work again with hardware events
- Make open all work again, add posting back with necessary hardware event work, some initial work on canceling
- Initial conversions to WoWAce, nothing should actually work yet

Description:
--------------------
Quick Auctions is an auction tool to help speed up auctioning large quantities of items, especially canceling. While primarily Quick Auctions is built for large quantities of items, it can work fine for a few auctions as well. A bit of tweaking is required to get optimal settings, but it is very flexible and smart enough that you can use it for more than just mindlessly undercutting auctions by 1 copper every time. Summary window and craft queues are included so you do not have to memorize every item and quantity you need. Shows total materials required to craft as well as allowing you to click from the craft queue to craft so no searching through everything.

Slash command: /qa (/quickauctions)

Donations
A lot of time went into Quick Auctions, donations are appreciated but not necessary. And it's cheaper than buying gold while not being against the ToS!

http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/4195.png?skin_name=chrome

Groups
Groups are how you manage what items should be managed by Quick Auctions. You can set auction settings either as a default, or per group giving you flexibility over everything without having to duplicate your settings 50 times. There are no limits to how many items can be grouped, see the configuration in /qa config to set them up.

Mail
Includes a timer in the top left of the mailbox indicating how much time before new mail data becomes available, and if you are not using Postal then QA provides its own auto looting for mail. The auto looter will work with the timer on the mailbox cache so it will loot everything, wait until new mail is available and then keep looting.

Auto mailing can now be done per item or per group to any character you want. For example, you can setup your banker to send uncut gems to your jeweler and you can setup your jeweler to send cut gems to your banker. The auto mailer is intelligent in when it sends mail off, and wor...

WoWI Mod Uploader (r53)

This is for developers who are interested in uploading mods to WoWInterface, not for updating mods from WoWInterface to your computer, Thanks!

This script tries to speed up the process of updating your mods on WoWInterface and making life easier in general, supports uploading from an svn repository on a remote server or from your own desktop. Right now, it'll only update files that have already been submitted but their are plans to allow uploading new files later.

All you need is Java 1.5 (also known as Java 5.0) or higher, and a WoWInterface account. Everything is done through a command line, the arguments can be pulled up by passing -h or -help, heres the ones that are available currently.

-u <username> WoWInterface account name
-p <password> WoWInterface account password
-ver <version> File version for uploading
-log Includes a changelog-<version>.txt file with the mod zip.
-desc-log Includes the last 50 commits in the mod description.
-svn Path to the svn command line, usually you can just use -svn.
-fid <fileid> File ID to update on WoWInterface.
-ftitle
Attempts to find the file id using the mod title.
-ftoc Attempts to scan the TOC file in the given path for the file title.
-desc Replaces the mod description which the file passed.
-skip Skips confirmation on the mod to upload to
-zip-ver Uploads the zip with the file name <folder>-<version>.zip
-svn-export
Grabs the specified SVN directory URL and uploads it, -path and -svn-path are not needed for this.
-svn-path <dir> Path to the svn to grab the change log/revision number from, only needed if the current working directory isn't the svn repo itself.
-path <dir> Path to the mod to be zipped/uploaded, only needed if the current working directory isn't the mod itself.
-zip <dir> Zipped file to upload, cannot use -zip-ver or -log with this.
-ignore <pattern> Lets you choose which files should not be included in the zip, you add as many -ignore args as needed.

You do not need to pass -u or -p through the command line, it'll simply ask you to provide the information, same with -ftitle and -fid you'll be asked for the file id you want to upload to. This can be ran from any location on your computer, you just need to make sure you set the correct -path or -svn-path to point towards the location you want.

A few examples, lets say WoWIUploader.class is located in C:/ and I want to upload the add on FooBar that's located in C:/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/FooBar and it's also been checked out from svn and the file id is 7500.

java WoWIUploader -fid 7500 -zip-ver -desc-log -log -path "C:/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/FooBar" -svn-path "C:/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/FooBar" -ver "r50"

This will create a zip named FooBar-r50.zip, and also include a change log named changelog-r50.txt of all changes retrieved through svn log, the mod description will be updated with the last 50 changes also. Now, say you want to upload a mod that's in SVN from a tag that's located in www.testserver.com/svn/tags/FooBar-r50 and the file title is "Foo Bar", you'd use

java WoWIUploader -ftitle "Foo Bar" -desc-log -log -svn-export "www.testserver.com/svn/tags/FooBar-r55" -svn-path "www.testserver.com/svn/trunk/FooBar" -ver "r55"

This will create a zip named FooBar-r55.zip, a change log file named changelog-r55.txt retrieved from www.testserver.com/svn/trunk/FooBar/ and will include the last 50 changes in the mod description also retrieved from the same URL as changelog-r55.txt and will upload to the mod with the title Foo Bar.

-----
If you want to upload from WoWAce to WoWInterface, but you use .pkgmeta, the latest version will handle that, for example:

java WoWIUploader -curse-page "elitistgroup" -api-key "####################" -desc-log -skip -ftitle "Elitist Group" -repo-log "git@git.wowace.com:wow/elitistgroup/mainline.git"

Will pull the latest version of Elitist Group from wowace, then it will pull the latest version and change log from a git repo.

Or, if you are pulling from a straight git repo:

java WoWIUploader -git-export "git://github.com/Shadowed/DamnCraftSpam.git" -git-path "master" -ftitle "Damn Craft Spam" -log -desc-log -zip-ver -git-folder "DamnCraftSpam"

Will pull from the git repo DamnCraftSpam on github, using the branch master, and it will name the folder DamnCraftSpam.

Instead of a single score, Elitist Group shows you a variety of data from the players experience per dungeons and raid (can be broken down by boss), to whether their choice of equipment, enchants or gems fit their spec. You can still see the players average item level as well, but it's not the primary focus and only there to give you an idea of a players gear.

All user data will be compressed on logout to keep the database size more manageable. However, a variety of database management options are included to delete data after a certain period of time, or not save data on people from another server.

Interested in people being able to see your mains experience or request your data, but don't want the entire addon? Take a look at Elitist Group Sender, which does nothing more than respond to experience or data requests.

Slash command: /elitistgroup (/eg) use /eg help for a list of slash commands.

Bugs? Should you be reporting an item being flagged incorrectly, make sure you include as much details as to why it's wrong.

How are items categorized?
Based on stats. Spell Power is a caster item, Hit is for DPS, Strength is only for melee dps, Defense for tanks and so on. As you can see in the screenshots, you are given what an items type is. Whether an item is allowed or not is based on spec, meaning Holy Paladins will be flagged for wearing Retribution gear, but a Retribution Paladin will not.

If somebody is missing an enchant or gem, Elitist Group will also tell you that.

Summary
To speed up checking out your raid or dungeon group, you can use /eg...

Combat Log Fix (r20100217)

Change Log:
--------------------
Author: Shadowed <shadowed.wow@gmail.com>
Date: Wed Feb 17 16:34:43 2010 -0800
- Changed logic, now based off of when the spell with a cost (mana/health/rage/etc) is cast and checks if any combat log messages fired within the last 1 second
- Fixed events not being unregistered
- Reduced timeout to 2 seconds
- Initial commit (/logfix), auto fixes the combat log by clearing it

Description:
--------------------
Fixes the combat log break bugs that have existed since 2.4. Credit goes to Imbad on ArenaJunkies for finding this. It works by clearing your combat log essentially, but it does it a little bit more automatically:

Slash commands: /logfix

On zone type change (pvp -> none, raid -> none, etc) it will clear the combat log
If no combat log events are found for 2 seconds after you cast a spell, it'll clear the log. It will also report how many combat log messages you had when it broke, if you can report these numbers in comments that would be great, might help narrow the bug down.

The above are enabled by default, you can disable them with /logfix.

Change Log:
--------------------
Author: Shadowed <shadowed.wow@gmail.com>
Date: Thu Jan 21 22:31:23 2010 -0800
- Added .pkgmeta
- Initial commit, everything seems to be working

Description:
--------------------
EGS is a version of Elitist Group that will send your gear and main data when people request it. In general, the addon is passive and does very little. It only does something when another Elitist Group user requests your data. While in combat, communications are queued until you leave combat.

This is purely for people who want to respond to gear requests from Elitist Group or want to make sure people using Elitist Group see their main experience on an alt, but don't want the entire Elitist Group addon. Do not run both of these at the same time!

Since it's meant to send very little, no sense in a GUI configuration. To use: /egs (/egsender)

/egs main - Sets your current character as your main
/egs channel - Toggles what channel you will accept requests over, default everything but battleground on.
/egs list - Lists your current settings

Paladin Buffer (r1313)

Note!: I've not played a Paladin for a while and so this isn't maintained. Antiarc has written his own Pally Power replacement that I would recommend using in place of PB: http://www.wowace.com/addons/blessed/

Paladin Buffer is meant to simplify the assigning and managing both greater and single blessings... and there's not really much to it besides that. Includes a small buff status frame to see what the lowest greater and single blessing is overall and per class, the ability to buff individual classes through it as well as a key binding to smart greater and single buffing people. Syncs with other Paladin Buffer users, and includes an option (enabled by default) to sync with Pally Power.

Slash command is /paladinbuffer and the short cut is /pb

For broker users, you can use the plugin by fraz0815, Broker Paladin Buffer

Item Sets (r1122)

Item profile mod, lets you choose a list of items that should be equipped for that profile that you can then equip quickly, for example you can build a tank set called "Tank" and then equip it using /itemsets equip Tank, or a DPS set that you can equip with /itemsets equip DPS. Handles unique and prismatic gems correctly, so if both sets have 3 Dragon's Eyes in them you won't get errors about too many gems. Also includes a push option (/itemsets push
) that pushes all items of that set from your inventory into your bank, and a pull option (/itemsets pull
) that pulls items from that set into your inventory.

This is meant as a basic item profile mod, if you want things like events for equipping then you should look at other mods like ItemRack, speaking of which thanks Gello for some of the ideas in ItemRack that I stole!

Slash command: /itemsets (/is)

Broker: For a broker widget, see http://wowinterface.com/downloads/info12234-BrokerItemSets.html

For bug reports or feature suggestions
From now on I will be using the portal WoWI provides for bug reports, as it is much easier for me to manage with a lot of addons and limited time.
