Will this addon be getting updated for Mists of Pandaria?

Is there something broken that I have not yet encountered, or do you just not like using the "load out of date addons" checkbox?

I generally avoid uploading a new version with simply a new ToC (version) number for a new patch (I think the version that is up now is still using 4.0's rather than 4.3's). I can do it if needed, or if there is a new feature you would like to see, but as far as I know, the addon still works with the latest patch without any changes.

I was more just wondering since I wasn't sure if any of the changes they've been making regarding MoP were going to affect it since some of the new coding has totally wrecked so many others. Its actually probably one of the few that hasn't been throwing errors at me since the last patch.

I hadn't checked to see if Blizzard fixed the issue until now, but it appears it was resolved at some point. As such, this addon is no longer required to not join the queue when AFK. Leaving it installed will not hurt anything (though I have not tested it in 5.0/MoP), but I will be marking this as "obsolete" and will not be updating it (unless the bug re-emerges later).

PFEIL breaks the expanded stats tab on the player frame in the current build of the beta. As such, it is highly recommended you uninstall this addon before the 5.0 patch if you still have it installed. As stated in my last comment, with the equipped item level now being displayed without an addon, I will not be updating PFEIL to correct this issue.

Just for the record, the only way to get full CTC in MoP against raid bosses is getting 104.5% block, which is unlikely to happen at any point except possibly during occasional procs. So this addon won't be quite as useful as it has been during Cata, as the caps won't be hit.

Mob level: Required to get full CTC
Level 90: 100% block or 97% dodge + parry (3% miss)
Level 91: 101.5% block or 101.5% dodge + parry (1.5% miss)
Level 92: 103% block or 106% dodge + parry (0% miss)
Level 93: 104.5% block or 109% dodge + parry (0% miss)

If anyone wants to double check my math, please feel free. MoP is doing some "fun" changes that really tweak the way the combat table has worked since 2004 (block formula, miss chance, avoidance changes per mob level above you).

With Patch 4.3, Blizzard includes the Equipped Item Level in their own Item Level stat line. Thus this is another one of my addons which is now obsolete, and will no longer receive any updates.

The percentage you are aiming for really depends on what level content you are doing. If you are raiding, 102.4% is the goal (each defensive stat is reduced by 0.2% per level a mob is higher than you , thus 4 * 3 * 0.2% = 2.4%). If you are only doing heroic 5mans, the highest mob level you will see is 87, and thus 101.6% is your cap. But yes, the higher the percentage, the lower the chance you have of taking full damage from a boss's "hit," and thus higher is better.

Like the GearScore controversy in Wrath, note that higher isn't strictly better, as you should take into account what type of avoidance/mitigation it is that is getting you there. Replacing 2% parry with 2.1% block is a higher CTC percentage, but you will likely take higher damage overall (as parries are full avoidance while blocks are only partial reductions). Plus if you are a warrior you may be sacrificing potential Hold the Line uptime.

If you reach your cap, block will be the first stat to be pushed off the table, so switch to increasing dodge or parry (with the removal of the defense rating stat, chance to be missed is no longer able to be increased, except by race/faction changing to Night Elf).

All frames? As in every single frame? Why not just disable the UI scale then as that is how it would appear?

I don't have a complete list of frames that changed with the mentioned patch. The only ones I really know about are the ones noted in the addon's description (RDF and loot roll frames). If you want the roll frames enabled by default, you can get my other addon (Roll Window Fix) that was specifically written to do that, or (for the RDF and roll frames) you can use the commands given in the description to add them to this addon -- only need to do it once (stored across sessions and characters).

If you see a window you do not want scaled, Blizzard gives you the ability to find out what it is named. By typing /framestack, you will be given a list of all frames underneath your mouse (I gave this as a tip at the bottom of the description). From this, it should be easy to add the frame (maybe a little trial and error to ensure you got the right frame, as often there are several frames underneath your mouse).

Again, the only frames that I know of that no longer "not scale" like pre-3.3.2 are the 5 given in the description, with their one-time use commands to fix them. I could possibly add the commands as a comment inside the addon so you have a reference if you ever wipe out your WTF folder, or give them as examples when you type /fsf without giving a frame, but it is very unlikely that I will include any frames enabled by default.

So maybe a pre-set profile, maybe one not loaded by default which will include the popular or common frames to which the resizing issue applies.
