I hate to be such a bother, but the problem I mentioned before still exists - and isn't limited to ML situations anymore.

Example: I've been digging up artifacts through Archaeology, and then proceeded to kill a mob. When I looted the artifact I had both artifacts and a keystone, but upon looting I only saw the currency created (i.e. the artifacts) printed. The keystone wasn't printed until I had killed the mob and looted him, resulting in a you receive loot: , . Might be related to the fact that one of the lootable items isn't loot but listed as currency.

Example: I've been soloing Dire Maul to get Knot's tailoring patterns, and when I get a loot window that holds at least one item that binds on pickup I don't get a correct printing. Might be related to the "looting this item will bind it to you" message popping up.

Right now I can't think of more examples, especially none of occurances unrelated to currency or BoP items, but should I encounter more then I'll be sure to mention it. :)

Hi all,

Consolid8 1.5 is out, with 4.0.1 compatability, and hopefully I've fixed Maelynn's problem. Unfortunately, honor tracking is out of action until I can figure out GetCurrencyInfo, but other than that everything should be working.

OK, my beta installation doesn't seem to be working now and I'm still downloading the patch, so I can't do the final test of the patch 4.0 release, but if you download Consolid8 (Cataclysm), then that should work until I get the final release out in a day or so. That release should fix/workaround the master loot problem too.

Nope. I do check the loot when the boss has died, but by the time the rolling is done and the items are being distributed I already trotted to the next trash pack. Or to the Mage to beg for a portal.

I do have my usual settings on auto-loot, if that's of any importance. No specific looting addons installed, just standard Blizzard settings.

OK. One last question. Are you looting (auto-looting or with the loot frame open) at the time you are given the loot?

It's just the standard MasterLooting system that Raid Leaders use to distribute loot. When you can see the items in the loot window, but only the MasterLooter is able to pick them up and give them to people. Then I won't get a "you won item x" message, only a "you receive item X" message when you're given the item.
Without C8 I get that message the moment I receive the item, but with C8 I get the item, but the message doesn't appear until the next time I loot a mob/container (such as the Mustard Plant in my screenie).

I've been having this bug for a while now, but never bothered with it because it wasn't that annoying to me. However, I figured you as the author may want to know about it regardless, especially with Cata closing in.

Thing is, when I'm in a raid and I receive an item through the MasterLooting system, I don't immediately get a message that I got the item. Instead, it waits till my next loot and then prints the won item along with it. Screenie below:

As it happens, I had just done a fix for that myself along precisely the same lines which was due to be released with the next update. I've just done a minor update to implement it.

Yes, this has been a feature for a while. As I've said above, the latest update fixes a bug with it.

I've been using C8 for a while, but it wasn't until i was leveling an alt that i realized how annoying the XP gain was. It flips to -xp when you level, so can't track session gains... which is what this is all about.

Anyway got annoyed enough to rewrite the tracking for XP. It's along the lines of this -----------
