Nice. Does this return any message (if someone from the guild is blocked)? I'd like a blocked guild's member to realise his / her guild has been blocked.

BadBoy has something like that, for individuals excluded by level, so it should be possible.

Enough such messages and members might realise they've either got to shape up or move to a guild without such a bad reputation.

I'll certainly be keeping an eye on this!

I see the following function on the WoWWiki API:
DeclineInvite("channel") - Declines an invitation to join a chat channel.

I'm not familiar enough with scripting to know how to create a macro to use/keybind this, but I wondered if it would be something you could add to RSVP's functionality?

It's something there isn't any default interface option to do, and I haven't found any existing addon to do this automatically, and having it be done automatically would be so much preferred to keybinding a macroed script to always decline & avoid clicking during PVP.

It's harassment during PVP that led me to request you to add blocking Chat Channel invites.

Also-- I'm sure I could just disable duel decline in your addon by changing the LUA, but adding a toggle command instead would be much appreciated.

Wow, you must know some just butthead guilds.

you can say that again...think of this like parental language filtering to ensure that while some folks feel a culture of negativity, foul language and harassment is okay in their gaming experience, it's not necessarily appropriate for everyone within earshot. I've seen too many 13 yr olds in trade channels and other places reveling in a few chosen words that they just learned how to spell which are not taken care of by the in-game interface. This just makes it all go away, no need to figure out what words or harassment they'll think of next...guess I should have call the addon "Rose-colored glasses" since it makes my WoW world a much nicer place... :)

Very nice work, I've modified this version to give me the colors I wanted and I've changed the font. I'm getting into mod development and I'm thinking of trying to set up a font picker and color chooser for this. If I do i'll certainly send you my version if you feel like integrating any of it.

Since installing this addon I've had it enabled on all of my characters, and I am getting guild invites through the whisper channel seemingly all-the-time. Of course, I still get those annoying guild invite pop-ups when people don't ask first but just invite you that way.

...I know the option already exists in the interface, but the motivation for putting together perhaps the smallest addon in WoW history was that I was being bugged by everyone while on my alts to join their guilds without prior comm's. My thought was to expand this a bit in the future by excluding only invites from non-friends which would require at least some form of socially accepted interaction prior to invites (which is lacking currently in WoW to say the least). This would tailor the blocks from the banhammer that currently exists to something more moderate.

Given that I was able to grab the name RSVP I'm thinking I might want to make this a much more useful addon from a comm's standpoint just haven't expanded on the thought much yet...(e.g. auto-accepting guild calendar events, guild raid invites, auto-whisper/reply while afk, perhaps some general auto-hail dialog for us RP'ers, etc...)

Any ideas would be greatly appriciated...

Thanks for catching that. I missed putting a darn double-quote in and it's in relation to the PLAYER_LOGIN event, so yes you'd see it on each reload. Fixed now for v.0.02b

I get an error every time I log into a character or reload the UI:

Beautiful little HUD. Since they can't seem to get a Metahud descendant updated without bloating it with a load of useless crap, something like this could really start to gain popularity with people (like me), who prefer to build their own UI out of a number of small elements, thus making the UI footprint smaller. Along with AuraFrames, RangeDisplay, and Quartz, Circlehud could obviate the need for there to be an all-in-one HUD package and allow your UI to be stylish and customized without robbing you of FPS.
