I was updating the TOC today and decided to mess with the locale error. There really ARE no localizations done for this mod, so I figured all the Locale files were supposed to be placeholders. So, Using the Locale-enUS.lua, I just copied and renamed it for all the other locales.

Probably could have just had it loop back but that is what it seemed they were trying to do that didn't work.

I am no coder, and have no clue what anything means, but its working just fine now.

Please make FishingBuddy a required... (Fishing Buddy)

Please make FishingBuddy a required dependency of FB_Broker, rather than optional one.
I don't want any unneded addons loaded, if their dependencies are disabled, and I only have fishing on two characters, thus only have FishingBuddy enabled only for them two.
Said that, I absolutely don't see a reason in separate broker addon, just include it's functionality in the core addon. It'll also save you a load of download bandwidth, as FB_Broker duplicating most of the core addon libs.
Same goes for FB_Titan - it's a long time since they've included proper LDB functionality, separate addon is no longer necessary.
All in all - less code to maintain, less headache. IMHO.

I just was over on Curse checking a couple of addons that don't have presence here, and noticed that Fishing Buddy is up to 1.2f over there. (1.2e here.)

I've been logging in and out, updating various addons, and just got this one upon logging in - again, before I've had a chance to do anything at all, not even move. And I don't have a fishing pole equipped. ETA: I've now gotten this on multiple toons, with and without a fishing pole equipped, of various levels. I'm disabling this module. Note: I don't even put the modules that offer the various bar compatibiliies (fubar, titan) into the addon folder. Also, line 346 of Outfit Display Frame is throwing this same error (attempt to index field 'API' (a nil value) now that MergeDatabase is disabled.

Fishing without a Pole (Fishing Buddy)

I get no LUA error or anything other than the Red MSG that i either need to equip a pole(guess its trying to attach a lure) or didn't land in fish-able water or i drink the captains lager(so not happy bout that) and i DON'T have a Fishing pole equipped (but i have the weather beaten hat on - hey its stats! )

i was wondering if Fishing buddy activates on just the pole or a fishing "Outfit" and if its activated off the hat is there a way to disable it for Pole use only?

It works good now with MoP, but why doesnt it use any Bright Baubles or other ones when i use my Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole, it only works if i use the standard fishing pool.
Can u fix this please.

... for updating this for 5.0.4 / MoP, *and* for making sure it's pulled over onto this site in addition. I've definitely noticed the lack of this addon over the week+ I was on vacation at a friend's house, who had WoW but not this addon.

This is seriously one of my favourite addons. If the author has abandoned or is too busy, could someone with the skills (that I lack) to do us a quick fan fix, on FishingAce at least, I really miss double right-click casting. :D
