I just pushed a new version to WoWAce that is working with 5.x: http://www.wowace.com/addons/itemdb/
Shift-Click Search twice to fill the client cache. It will look like the client crashed but it will recover after some seconds.

I was having issues getting this to work but I finally got it going. If you were using an older version of EBB try deleting any Elkano entries in WoW/WTF/Account/Accountname/SavedVariables

I have updated to the newest version on wowace, but it is not showing anything at all. All it says is blessing of demonstration. When I do self buffs and such nothing shows up at all. When I log off and back on it doesn't even show up and I have to do a reset to just get it to

It's in configuration mode -- 'blessing of demonstration' should be self-explanatory.

It has only glaring error: a reference to the now-non-existant ranged slot. Early in the beta, I edited the offending array element and so far mine's worked fine, though I can't say I've beat it with hammers.

Elkano's been teasing but not delivering so I'll point you to this ( http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info21482-FanUpdatetoElkBuffBars.htm ) in the interim, which makes the edit I mentioned.

Wow.... everyone is wanting it updated now... I really don't know anyway I could all buffs tracked as good as this addon.... I mean I probably could get WeakAuras and get someone to make a string to stack EVERY SINGLE ........ LAST BUFF.... but that's to overwhelming to do all that work I would think. Please update addon plss =p

tho I experience some kind of a bug when the addon sometimes shows '100 sec' duration on buffs/debuffs instead of '1 min 40 sec'

I'm having a problem where I can't right click a buff on the buff bar to cancel a buff while in combat. It works fine once a break combat. This becomes a problem when I want to break out of ice block early or drop righteous fury on my pally so the off tank can grab a boss.

With the latest version I got a problem with dropping/moving items in my inventory.
To be more precise:
When I move an item to another free position, on the old position the item leaves a grey shade (as if you've attached it to i.e a mail) but on the new position it looks like that spot is still blank.
Although hovering over the new (visually empty) spot, the tooltip of the item appears.
Similar effect with taking an item out of your mail, it doesnt show up (yet tooltip works).

After rolling back to vers. r165, all is working fine again.

Not sure wether it is a bug with the new version or some interacting problem with another addon.

no, not whitelisting the spells individualy but the timeless buff filter.
