I cannot figure out how to make my Serpent Sting timer work on anything besides a Training Dummy. I have tried many combinations of commands to no avail. Any help?

To display the duration of YOUR Serpent String on your current target, use the config line:
dot unit=target mine : Serpent Sting

This works fine on my alt hunter.

Using v3.26 and there's a weird bug. Every time I log in or go through any sort of loading screen/ zoning screen, it starts showing the Blizzard castbar when I cast, even though it's set to hide. I have to go to options and toggle it to not hide, and then hide again, before the hide takes effect.

Gnosis unregisters the blizzard castbar (if activated in the configuration menu) and if no other addon has already unregistered it. I'm not sure what can go wrong on Gnoisis end here. Does Gnosis tell you it registered/unregistered the blizzard castbar when unchecking/checking the option "Hide Blizzard's castbar".

I was wondering if there is any way to hide the last tick of Mind Flay that is always at the end of the cast bar? Feel it is unneccesary since the cast ends there and it's always there.

If you're not playing with macros (which is bad anyways), the final tick latency bar still has some use, at least when not chain channeling Mind Flay. Therefore, there is no option to hide it.

Hi sorry if this have been posted before around, but didn't seem to find out. Anywho. Is there a way to make the gnosis for power bar update faster, fx. it's updating once per second, where I want it to update more frequently.

Go to Gnosis' main configuration tab and reduce the time between timer updates ("Scan for timer updates every ").

My channeling bars keep fading once I start moving. Kil'Jaeden's Cunning Talent allows for casting while moving. I am having issues, specifically, with Maelific Grasp and Drain Soul.

See the ticket on curseforge or read/post on curse if you have additional information. I don't yet know what/if something can be done to solve this problem.

Man i love this addon! the best castbar ever made, however i do have 1 little feature request.

I would very much like a way to display the time text in the castbar rather than overlapping the latency bar aswell.

You can move most things around to fit your needs, e.g. timer text and latency text (which you probably meant), adjust font sizes, etc.

Sorry for my long absence. I uploaded a new alpha version of Gnosis (Gnosis r16) for WOW v5.04 to Curseforge. Search for the link in the addon description. I'll upload a release version as soon as I got on also to wowinterface (still might be on curse a little sooner).

It would be nice to fix complex cooldowns(spells with charges, e.g. Hand of Gul'dan, Savage defense). As for now, you can't track cooldowns of such spells at all.
There's also a bug with a detection which talent spec you use. And minor bugs in ticks of channaled spells.
Also would be great to add demonic fury resource.

Hello, first I would thank you for developing and maintain this great addon. Love it since I first started to use it :)

I wanted to ask if there is by chance the possibility to show the stacks of "Fingers of Frost" on a bar for my Mage, which also shows the duration of the buff. I read the reply you gave to Ruind and read it up on curse, but still couldn't figure out how I get the bar to show me the current stacks I have.

This is the line I tryed for the bar in the whitelist:

buff:Fingers of Frost<1,2,1,2>

Didn't work...then I tryed something like this:

buff:Fingers of Frost<0,2,1,2>

Didn't work either -_-

How the heck can I customize it so that my bar shows me the lasting time of my "Fingers of Frost" aswell as the current stacks I have?
If I just type in "buff:Fingers of Frost" the lasting time shows off...but it would be nice if I could see my current stacks of it aswell =/

I figured out how to reproduce the Shield Icon error.

Have:

One cast bar Unit: Player
One cast bar Unit: Target
"Show Shield Icon around uninterruptible casts" enabled for Target

Now:

Target self
Cast something like Hearthstone or your flying mount

You'll see a shield icon around the cast. From this point forward, ANYTHING you cast (in the Unit: Player bar) will have the Shield Icon displayed and be colored using the 'Uninterruptible cast' color.

This is not affected by whether "Show Shield Icon..." is enabled or disabled for the Unit: Player bar; it will always occur.
