I've yet to find an article where the Renewing Mists stacks tracking was compatible with TMW, but each article was at least a month or so old... So i was wondering if TMW can now support it, and if it is, can i please have a string? I've been working at it for hours to no avail  If not, then keep up the good work, LOVE the addon.

Sorry for taking so long to get this out, but here it is: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/tellmewhen/forum/monk/51804-mistweaver-renewing-mist-total-raid-stacks-shortest/

I don't know what might be wrong with it.

Unfortunate, because the problem is really annoying. Any idea what the cause might be? Could it be because I have Allow Global Cooldown ticked? I'm sure there's a better method that doesn't revolve around setting opacity when failed to 99%.

You could use an On Condition Set passing event for this, but you would need two of them (one each for starting and stopping the animation), which is slightly less efficient CPU-wise (not enough to matter at all, though). Your method works OK, even if it is a little weird.

Hunter - Beast Mastery

What I need help with: My only problems with my Hunter's setup is the fact that my Kill Shot's activation border sometimes only stays up for a split second and then disappears and doesn't come back until some arbitrary condition is filled. I managed to narrow down the cause and it seems to be breaking when the conditions are fulfilled and either a GCD or a cast is underway. How do I fix this? I should have provided all the neccessary information. Also, I'm having trouble getting the activation border to display around the edges of Explosive Shot when Lock and Load has procced. (my conditions and events aren't in the above group string).

I don't know what might be wrong with it.

(my conditions and events aren't in the above group string).

Then I can't help you with that one either if I don't know what you have tried already.

Oh and since the problem is probably easily fixed, you don't have to give me the group string, just telling me which way to jiggle the conditions or add a new one if neccessary. I have much more annoying and mistifying (to me) problems that I need help fixing on my other toons. Thanks in advance.

I'm not using an alpha version... I just update using curse.

Look at the top of the icon editor. What does it say? If it says TellMeWhen v6.2.0 r742 (or any r###), you are using an alpha version. Please try updating to r743 and see if that fixes the issue.

Either way, if you update using Curse, CurseForge, or the Curse Client, you should submit your bug reports there - not here.

And I know I'm missing something obvious. But yesterday, my icons on my cooldown group used to move -- ie they'd group up on the left as they fired. Now they don't move -- they show where they are on the bar (they don't slide to the left). I didn't change anything but I can't find the option to turn it back on. Help please. Thanks.

If you are using an alpha version of TMW, please use the ticket system on CurseForge to submit bug reports. Alpha versions are not uploaded here on WowInterface.

Please submit a bug report ticket at http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/tellmewhen/create-ticket/ and be sure to include the export string of the profile that you are having trouble with.

Hey mate. So, in my Hunter's survival spec, I frequently change two talents: Glaive Toss and Barrage. I, obviously, never have both of them at the same time so I was wondering if it was possible to make it display the talent that I have learned but on the same slot?

http://i.imgur.com/8aGcL5V.png

Scenario: Glaive Toss unlearned, Barrage learned. I want Barrage to be where Glaive Toss is currently. When I change back to Glaive Toss being learned I want Glaive Toss to replace Barrage on the same slot. Also, was wondering if it is possible to change the font size and the position of labels.

Thanks.

Track both by name (won't work if you track them by ID) in the same cooldown icon (separate each one with a semicolon).

To modify the font settings, clone the text layout that the icons are currently using (I'm assuming its the default text layout for icons) and set your icons to use the new, cloned layout. Then, modify the cloned layout as desired until it suits your needs.

Thanks. That fixed it =)

can you use Tellmewhen to track dots like shadow word pain and vampiric touch? If yes how do you do it?

Use the Buff/Debuff icon type when configuring an icon.

If you are unfamiliar with how to select an icon type, I recommend downloading and installing TellMeWhen and opening up the Icon Editor for an icon (right click one of the icons that you see in the middle of your screen when you first log in with TellMeWhen).

Let me know if you need more help than this, although it should be pretty self-explanatory once you start configuring an icon. Just make sure to select the correct unit to watch (you will want to change it from "player" to "target") and that you select "Debuff" instead of "Buff" in the icon's settings since the two examples you gave me are both debuffs.

I'm pretty certain I know the answer to the question I'm about to ask. But I wanted to check anyway. I'm currently trying to acsertain whether TMW has any form of multi-target tracking.

Essentially I need to know when I have an active flameshock but not necessarily on my target. The reason I need to know this is because nova requires an active flamshock somewhere, but unfortunately due to the way the spell functions, it does not become inactive when there is no available flameshock active. You can press the button it just won't do anything. If it didn't function like this I could just do a simple icon check, but alas I cannot. I am aware that there are trackers out there, such as ForteX, but I don't need that sort of functionality. I just want to be able to run a check for TMW.

I have played with weakaura's and it does have muti-target tracking. Unfortunately however it doesn't seem to work with mutiple triggers. Otherwise I would make an aura to surround my TMW icon.

Thanks. Sorry if what I'm saying makes little sense. I will happily clarify anything should you need me to.

TellMeWhen will only track buffs/debuffs on units that have a valid unitID (like "target", "targettarget", "pettarget", "arena1", etc.), so essentially, the answer to your question is no. You could setup a Combat Event icon to do this (start a timer when you cast flameshock), but it would be unreliable because it can't track if the unit goes too far away, dies, gets dispelled, or other things that would cause the flameshock to be unavailable for casting nova.

Thanks, I thought this was the case. I shall just have to try to rely on the plate debuff animation which may cause some issues due to the alpha settings I use. Thanks for getting back to me. Once again terrific addon. Keep up the good work!

Hi, i very much like Your addon, i want to ask if its possible to attach TMW bars to stick with mouse cursor? If there is can someone GPS me to it? ;]

If no, would be too much trouble to add such function?

Please see the response I gave you in the Curse.com comments (basically, you need to open a ticket if you would like to see this functionality added to TellMeWhen).
