Hello i got a problem with Chinchilla the best way to describe the problem is to show a screenshot....It's a bug in Blizzard's code I'm afraid. :(
I don't know if I can fix it or if it's something that Blizzard needs to fix themselves.

I'll keep an eye out for fixes or a workaround but for now there's nothing I can do. Sorry!

To be completely honest, the alpha settings have never worked properly.

I think I'll just get rid of it, or maybe replace it with a Hide In Combat/Out of Combat toggle.

Changing minimap Opacity to anything other than 100% causes a strange bug in certain of multilevel maps (like the Cleft of Shadows in Orgrimmar or any of the hallway tunnels between the different Valley area or entering the city for example).

At 100% everything works as intended. At any other opacity, zooming in/out will cause the map texture to blackout. Player location and blips still show, just not the actual map. Changing Opacity back to 100% again fixes this.

I was able to reproduce this with a fresh install (using the current 2.5.5 version and a blank Chinchilla Saved Variables file) using the default profile with all other addons disabled.

I'd like to apologise for my lack of input on here. For those of you who follow me on Twitter you'll know that I have been suffering from manic depression and mild anxiety for a long time now. It cripples me and the medication I currently take does nothing to help.

I haven't left the game or given up programming. In fact, I still very much enjoy both of these things.

Chinchilla Minimap will be updated to work with Mists of Pandaria. Here is a working beta version for those who want it.

Please understand that this is an incredibly difficult time for me.

But I haven't given up.

I'd love to be able to move the expander, depending on which character/profile I'm on. In any case, centered seems like it's in the way for herbing and such (which this feature is amazing for combined with GatherMate).

Hi, I'd really like to enjoy this Addon; but for some reason the position feature doesn't work for me. I try to move the minimap with the Horizontal/Vertical bar and nothing changes, and if I try to click and drag it move as it should but when I release the button it pings back to the top corner (and anything else I've moved around gets reset also).

Any help that could be given would be appreciated, I hope I'm just missing a setting but I can't see how since I literally installed it only a moment ago.

So far I am enjoying this addon in my UI Compilation. I do have 1 request or question if it is possible to be fixed or added in...

At the moment, When I close/hide the map, everything with it (such as LFR/BG/Zoom Buttons) goes hidden with it. The only exception is the Difficulty Flag (guild / instance flag). Is it possible to attach this to be hidden when I have the map hidden as well?

Ahh.. poop. I don't see it (the funky border) on any of the other blips within Chinchilla, and they're .tga. I guess I'm out of luck for now, as I have no idea how to fix it. Thanks for the response! :)

Hi! Love Chinchilla, but have been trying to add the "Charmed" set of icon blips into the addon since Blipstick is no longer working for me. I successfully did this, however the icons seem to have a round, white border around them despite what I do in Photoshop. I'm not sure if I'm not saving it correctly (as a .tga, 32 bits/pixel) or what. :\ I have tried 24 bits and 16 bits, which did not seem to correct the issue. I followed the format of the other blip images under the folders "Art" and "TrackingDots" (because I noticed they are different). Also, I edited both of the trackingdots.lua files in the folders "Modules" and "TrackingDots" to add the correct/corresponding image paths in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. :)All of the blip textures suffer from this and I think it's largely due to them being in .tga format in the first place. Blizzard's default blips are in .blp format and don't have the white border around them.

Thanks in advance.DisableMinimapTarget has become obsolete as of Patch 4.3. Blizzard added options to the tracking menu that will disable target and focus blips on the Minimap.

Uninstall DisableMinimapTarget and the errors will go away.
