Absolutely love the addon, one minor suggestion though. I would love to be able to block the "Grisly Trophy" loot spam that seems to never end :cool:

I'm sorry man. I've been out of the country for the last year and haven't been able to play WoW. And now that I'm back I don't really want to get back into it because I don't have that much free time any more.

There will be a whitelist when I get the time to make one.

The quick answer is to set the 'poster lockout' (it's the top slider on the configuration window) to 1 or 2 seconds, then uncheck the 'global channels only' checkbox to the right of the slider. The result is that when someone sends a message, you won't see anything else from them for the next 2 seconds.

The downside to doing this if someone uses a multiline macro which you want to see (for example a boss strat), of if you have friends who

some people do 3 line ascii and then say grats in a new line at the end...
so far its not being blocked.. I don't want single line grats to be blocked but I would like it if they say grats more then once per second. :)

does the Ascii art block feature, block players with Ascii characters in their character names? like.. does it block their messages / name of any messages they may send you? if so I'm just gonna keep that disabled..
edit: I misunderstood your question.

The answer is no. It will not block someone's message for having high-ascii characters in their name.

However... it probably wont kill you to leave that unchecked. It was originally intended for the ascii "pictures" which people would post in trade chat during WotLK. Since Blizzard now limits people to 2 messages per (what?) 30 secs, they're not as prevalent anymore.

okay I can open it now, but why is the frame not able to be dragged? since its with a alpha.. I cannot really see the options because of the addons in the background having text and stuff which bleeds through.. (able to be seen and it laps the forward text of your addon)

which covers most of the common ones you see in WoW.

The actual spelling fixer isn't anywhere near comprehensive. It just has a list of the stuff which I see on a regular basis (rouge, tnak, plx and the like).

It's really funny how I was thinking the other night while searching the addon sites...

"Since all the things they can do now with chat filters, I sorta hope someone would come out with an addon that corrects spelling automatically for people who spell incorrectly all the time... or for people who are clueless on acronyms and replace it with the real word but colored red or something to know it has been corrected"
