Isn't there a way to grab the emotes directly from within the game, so you don't need to translate the strings manually?

Curse PMs apparently aren't shared with curseforge.com, which is where I do the addon development. That's why I never saw your PM.

I'm not sure if there's a way to parse the emote strings automatically, but if there were, it still wouldn't allow for categorization or custom emotes.

The addon has been updated. It is now an LDB addon and is compatible with 3.3.5. It has only been tested using Docking Station, but *should* work under any bar capable of displaying an LDB addon. It can also operate from the minimap (no option to hide the icon yet, but coming soon).

I've found this addon gBroker: emote, broker compliant and with a "learning" feature... (usefull for new emote or localizations).

but I prefer your classification (which is unapplicable to gBrokerEmote due to its working behaviour)

Honestly, not just new users would be happy. I've been using emotefu for as long as I've used fubar, but I've recently stopped using fubar.
