Is there a way to set this addon so you can simply press enter to chat like the default chat frame? I have completely replaced blizzard's chat frame with this one & this is the only annoying bit, having to click on the message box every time I want to type a message.

How do i set prat so save my chat sessions, so that when i log back in i still have my most recent tells, i had it set up do this but when i server transferred it's no longer doing it. Any help would be great.

A Chat Frame Strata option really needs to be implemented in Prat 3.0.

I'm using ElvUI and dislike their chat mod as it conflicts with several of my addons. Prat 3.0 however, doesn't. But it falls behind the ElvUI chat box backgrounds. The thing is, neither of these two things have strata options. ElvUI will probably never put them in because they don't seem to support Prat (for whatever reason), so my only option is to plead with the creator(s) of Prat to put the option into their addon.

It seems I am not the only one who is in desperate need of this.

Could someone please explain how to set the chat frame strata? I couldn't find an option for this. I need to set all of my chat frames to low so that they aren't covered up by my KGpanels artwork. A very simple request, but I have no idea how to do it lol

You'll have to do this through KGpanels, not Prat. Go to the main setting for whatever panel it is that is covering your chat, and look for this:

Turn the level down until the panel is behind your chat box instead of on top of it and that should fix it.

Getting this after logging in after patch 5.1 :(Hmm, looks like the 'Battleground' channel (or at least the entry in ChatTypeInfo) is gone? I just edited the Stickum function to check to make sure the target channel exists before trying to modify it -- but I don't know what else might be broken (or what else this might affect).
