May I have an example ot that spam? LibBattlescan should only spam extended info when in "developement mode", i.e. run on my pc with certain switch enabled. I for sure could have made some mistakes when discriminating on it but seeing an example of the actual messaging would be a great help

May I have an example ot that spam? LibBattlescan should only spam extended info when in "developement mode", i.e. run on my pc with certain switch enabled. I for sure could have made some mistakes when discriminating on it but seeing an example of the actual messaging would be a great help

The latest update introduced the two errors listed below. Also from some limited experience, the update has completely broken the mod. Its a shame as this used to be a really great addon. If anyone knows of a suitable replacement, I'm all ears.

regarding the WSG rez timer, I have taken a large sample set and what I am finding is that using a 31.5 second timer holds very close to true for WSG. My data points are within a couple of seconds of this, and some of this could be local issues (latency) and my stopwatch not being 100% super-exact on the start time. I suppose one could even re-synchronize it each time you die.

Any way to put this into the addon? Yours is the only one I have found which even discusses it.

The main site for alarbghelper is www.curse.com, the current version is 3.5.16 and I am almost sure the charbox thing has been fixed (dependes on the ace 2 version embedded in alarbghelper)
ANyway, I rechecked and looks like 3.5.16 is the release here, too.
Or are you talking about WOW version? In Italy we are running 3.3.3
Anyway installing an updated ace2 should help

Thanks for making this mod - I use it often. Anyway, with 3.3.5 today, I started getting this error:

Okay, looks like it is an ACE 2 issue. I had to get that and clean out some of the old ACE 2 stuff out of some other addons.. which is odd, but it seemed to want and load those.

I've been using heavy hitting Unit Frame addons for a long time, mostly for their feature to show Party Targets. Is there a chance of you adding a slim Health bar maybe just under the target's name? Helps when tanking to quickly visually see who the DPS is taking care of aside from just the name, and to differentiate the same-name mobs folks are targetting.

The auto join does not work! I can imagine Blizzard would code it so it can't happen. But if I can get a confirmation, I could learn to live without it.

the time before the damage debuff increases is offset by around 1:50, at least I could see such a gap on 3 consecutive games.

I'll dig around your code and see where I can change the values, when I get them correct I'll post back here with the appropriate values.

I was having a LOT of LUA errors with this addon when 3.2 came out, did a google search and they changed the getDifficultyColor() command to something different, I think it was like getQuestDifficultyColor() or something along those lines. I changed it in the .lua and it seems to be working ok but I'm not a coder and the whole "quest" part of it sounds odd.

I don't have a stand alone, only the AlarBGHelper pack. But after having logged out for the night, and logging back in the errors have stopped. I haven't enabled or disabled any other addons, and wow wasn't even closed.

If you have a standalone AlarLib, please delete it. The right version is the one embedded in AlarBGHelper.

I'm getting an lua error in AlarLib-2.0, Line 2743. Bad Argument #1 to "SetFormattedText" string expected, got nil. Are there any issues with other addons that are known? I have a crap ton of addons and I've already done the whole enable one by one crap for like 5 other addons this week, not in the mood to do it all over again.

This is also happening once per second, every tick that there is a capture bar active in AV. haven't tested in AB or EOTS yet.

EDIT: Even with capture bars disabled, I'm still getting the error message every second the frame gets updated. Doesn't happen in WSG.
