If your new add on can quiet the sound of hunters Kill Command I'll be in heaven.
That's the 3d most annoying sound a hunter makes following Stomps and BANGS from guns.

That's why model changing through this method doesn't work anymore, if blizzard doesn't want you to do something they can forbid it as easily, so for me sound modifications are not changing the gameplay @ all.

It's not changing anything from the game play, so thats ok.. If you change the size of a flag thats bad. so if you use this or others like it your safe and blizzard woun't do anything

Let's not forget that modifying any aspect of the game outside of the UI Interface folder is against the terms of service that you agree to abide by when you sign up and every time you download and install a new patch.

Use of this mod can (not will, just can) get you banned from the game, your account terminated, and/or a vacation from being able to play.

Until Blizzard does something about this (and I sincerely hope they don't) mods like this (which modify the sounds folder and are considered hacking) are not the answer.

Use at your own discretion and with full knowledge that what you are doing is against the rules.

Great Mod!
Though, I actually kind of liked the stomp sounds but would just like them at a lower level.
Any way you could add a choice between gone all together or just lowered volume?
If not can you tell me how to find the original sound files and maybe I can lower them myself...

While looking for this I also found a mod for lowering the sound of my gun which is what gave me the idea for just lowering the stomping sound instead of getting rid of it entirely. :D

Well good question but i think so, since these sounds are not reserved they could be used by others units.

@Silenia : i use a similar mod that change gun & bow sound by a railgun sound very clean very cool :D

@mrruben5 : Seriously theses sounds are really good at first but become really really annoying overtime, especially atm when i play 15h / day :rolleyes:

Kind of funny that the two most annoying sounds in the game come from hunters...... pet stomping and shotgun blasts. Maybe now I can tame some of these exotic pets without having to listen to that irritating sound. Thank you for this addon!

I don't see how these sounds are annoying to hunters. It's the reason I tamed my core hound and devilsaur.

I undesrtand it can be annoying to other classes though.
