It's impossible to detect real-time range. Blizzard's API just doesn't allow for it. That's why you're given approximate ranges instead. Because any range display is relying on your own specific Spells+Talents to determine how far away a creature is.

extended range (Target Range)

Sniper training (hunter) and extended range (resto druid) is not quite accurate.
The 2 classes I have are both using max range of 40, not 36. Sniper training for hunter is damage bonus between 30 - 40 yards range. It would seem TargetRange is still thinkin my range is 36.

I'm using version 1.43 of the addon.

Wish List: One simple box with 2 digits only. Showing the exact range, not just approximates. There are lot of times I'd like to see exactly how fast a target is moving towards or away from me (especially in PvP) so I can time it better with Aimed Shot or Concussion shot. In PvP such as Wintergrasp, or in PvE such as Naxxramas raid, an exact display of the yards would be wonderful. Many mobs can't hit you with spells from 36 - 40 simply because while they gave us players better range, lots of mobs still go by the older max range wich is 36.

it would also be nice if we could change the the range ist dispayed.
i would like to use this addon as a help for Pve-questing in instances, and when i try to use it it shows my priest only 3 ranges.. it would be better if it could alter. the range in 5 meter steps, like RangeDisplay does.

this would help to kill loken/kronos^^

Download the new version, 1.42, and let me know if there's still any issues with brutal gladiator gloves range. It should work now.

It seems that it doesn't check the increased range of shocks from S4 hand for shaman
my shaman with S4 hand Target Range can only show 20 yards of shocks instead of 25 yards
hope you can fix it later ^^

Ah, ok, yeah, they probably moved the talent or something. It works based on the position of the talent in the talent tree. It'll be super easy to fix.

The newest version does not detect the Hawk Eye distance upgrade. Despite having 3/3 Hawk Eye, my max range still reads 35. The previous version worked properly under 2.4.3.
