Yep doesn't work for me either. I wish someone would work on this mod, since there are not other sap timers that I can find. Any other suggestions let me know.

hi, i love this addon :D

some people seem to have issues with no sap bar or announce. it wasnt working for me until lvl 45, too. i was wondering about why sapper only announced kick, disarm and blind but sap not. i looked up in .lua for spell ids, but they seem to be correct. i dont know about scripting to check other stuff, but maybe this is a hint for the problem. so even if it doesnt show up correct for beginners, try to check it out again on lvl 45 when you achieve your endlvl of sap, should work then.
if it isnt working beyond this, im clueless also :D

Hello. I know you're not really working on this addon anymore, but I have a question for you, or anyone that can help me. I want to add a 3rd bar for Disarms to the list. I have successfully added the code for the detection of Disarms, and have gotten a bar to display on the screen, but it will not group with the bars for Sap or Blind. It is basically locked in the center of the screen and I cannot figure out where in the code I need to add to allow the bar to be grouped with the other two bars.

Yeah, I'm confused, also. I don't know if I made it clear, but Sapper used to work on both. I don't know when it happened, I noticed it a while back. Sometime in the last month or two, I am thinking.

I do have BugSack installed, but there are no errors. I can open the Sapper options frame and make changes, but when the rogue saps a humanoid, there is no party announcement and no bars. I can make the bars visible so I can move them, so they aren't moved somewhere off of the screen or anything like that.

Sorry m8, but now project is frozen.
I really have no time to add more improvements.

If you want to disable candies you can just add -- at th start of strings #336 and #337 in Sapper.lua

My m8 have 2 rogues on same server and sapper works fine for each of them.

I will try to detect what is wrong.

Some time ago, I'm not sure how long, I noticed that Sapper's bar and announcements are not working for one Rogue but is still working for another. The two toons are on different Realms; they both have exactly the same AddOns loaded and enabled. The toon with the working Sapper is level 66 on Rexxar, the one it doesn't work for is level 71 on AzureMyst. They are both specced Combat.
I tried first deleting the Sapper.lua in SavedVariables and deleting and reinstalling the AddOn, but that didn't make any difference.

Even though all of the AddOns for both toons are the same, I tried disabling all AddOns except Sapper. No change. WTH?!?

I didn't get a chance to edit enUS.lua before 3.34 was posted. I installed it and don't get the error on logon any more. I haven't had a chance to Sap and see if the bar & announce are working.

I tried that before with 3.1, and it didn't help. I'll try it again with 3.31 and let you know what happens.

We do understand, although we wish life could be easier. I chose to maintain an AddOn, and fix some errors/problems, for a while when the original author quit WoW. I knew nothing about lua or xml, so it was a lot of work. I succeeded, but I don't want to do that again unless I have a lot of time to learn more than I know now.
