I specifically miss the backup enemy pet health bar coloring that this addon provided. Knew at a glance if there was a rare. Blizz may have added 'some' color to the UI, but I think this addon went alot further in performing this nibblet of luxury. I have to agree with Kalium. This addon has spoiled me. Please consider continuing its maintenance!

This addon has spoiled me... I like that my pet journal displays the names in the quality glow color... the default interface which changes the border around the picture is helpful but it does not go far enough. Please update this addon for 5.1 and beyond.

This addon may now have become obsolete, but often times it's only because of addons like these that Blizz gets a frickin' clue that something was missing or was really needed. Thank you for the work that you put into this addon; I for one have enjoyed it to the fullest. /bow

I still can't download this addon. I can download other addons, but not this one and somebody else posted they CAN download. Anybody have any clue about why that might be? I'm stumped. :confused:

When I click on the download link, I get the message, "The specified file was not found." I am able to download the older versions, so I downloaded 1.02 and am using that but I would prefer to use the most recent version.
No problem for me. Try to delete your browser's cache. In the worst case scenario, try downloading it from another computer and email it to yourself. (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/download21362-PetBattleQualityGlow)

Now, 'bout the addon. That'd be cool if it shows you if you have a given pet and if so, how many with their breed quality if possible, let's say in the tooltip when you hover over the pet. Would that be possible boss?

Had to reformat my computer and reinstall WOW. Used this addon previously. Provides functionality that is highly useful. For some reason it won't download. Any chance someone could fix this?

I downloaded this and it works for the uncommons I've captured perfectly, but it only glows BLUE around a few on my MANY rares?

LiL XT, Fossilized Hatchling, Voodoo Figurine, Clockwork Gnome, Lil' Ragnaros, Lucky Quillen Cub, ect. are just among the MANY that still show as plain white border- I have many many more, out of my 130 pets, there are like 25 or more I KNOW are rares but your add-on only shows I think TWO as blue?

It's too bad, I love the idea- wish it worked- Can it be fixed?

Sorry for the long delay, I've been so swamped with work I haven't even had time to play MoP since it's release, hopefully this weekend. The Add-On should no longer be flagged out of date. I have also implemented the Death Grip Pet Swap fix by Nullberri (thank you very much for that).

@ryken342: I hadn't thought of adding in the Print Out to this. I originally tried to stay away from anything that would require a specific language, because then I'd have to worry about translations and command lines and possibly even a UI Options frame. But, I will consider it.

To prevent the game from sensing the addon is out of date you need to change the TOC interface number to "50001" :)

Hi Ember,

This is a great addon idea, but I have been playing with it today, and it seems that sometimes it does not give the enemy pets the correct quality glow during the battle.

I have tamed a few rare and uncommon quality pets that had a plain old silver border on their icons.

Working as intended? User error?

Have you verified it's actually loaded? The most recent version of the Addon is classified as out of date.

Hey, I have been using your addon for several hours now, and It works perfectly! Just like someone already mention, no need to keep releasing grey pets anymore:) I read the pet quality by the color of the font that the pet's name uses, the actual quality glow within the pet's portrait is hardly noticeable though. The glow and the border is always same color regardless of the mob's name color.

Hey,

I really loved the 3 pet print-out in the chat window saying mouse (rare), rat (common), cat (poor), and the associated color. That was the feature with BattlePetQuality. Is there a way you can add this to Glow? thanks!
