Ok, i solved the minimap icon problem (was a ElvUI config problem).

Today i had this error:

Everytime i open and then close the Altoholic Window my Altoholic minimap icon resets its position. :confused:

This function is not working on my Altoholic and I have deleted the addon and the saved files in the WTF folder. I then reinstalled the addon again using the Curse client. I have gone through and turned everything on in the options, but my characters gear screen still comes up blank. I don't get any error message either there just isn't anything there other than a blank screen. I can see everything that is in their banks and bags on the toons.

installed latest version of altoholic after a ui rebuild and, its only showing one toon at a time. wont show any lvl 90 at all... cant see any other toon I've logged onto either in the character list. I've not changed any of the settings when i installed it, help

I am having a strange issue occuring with Altoholic on one of my computers:

The Skills view does not populate the skills for all of my toons
For instance:

Toons A, C, D are missing their skills values
Toons B, E, F shows the skills values
When Toons A, C or D login, all player skills are empty
When Toons B, E or F login, they only see Toons B, E and F with Skill values populated

I have uninstalled Altoholic, verified files were removed, deleted the WoW Cache folder, then re-intalled Altoholic followed by logging in to all the toons and going through each area to repopulate the Data Store values. The above actions made no difference. The same toons that have skill values, have them the second time around while those that don't, match the ones that didn't show before.

My other computer (both running Windows 7 64-bit) does not have this problem. All toons have skill values filled in.

I'm stumped.

Being able to sort the summary tab by faction would be nice so that the totals for Alliance characters are separate from the totals for Horde characters.

I use auctioneer, if that matters.

Logged in, checked mail (bunch of sold auctions), walked into AH, opened auction interface, chose 'auctions' and then cilcked 'high bidder' to sort them to the top, and this error popped immediately:

Thanks for such a fantastic add on!

With 11 toons, this add on is invaluable.

One suggestion I might make is being able to track kills of the world bosses. It wasn't a big deal before, but since the increase of the spawn rate of Galleon and the new world bosses it would sure be nice to have a menu I could glance at and see which alt has downed which world boss.

Along those same lines, the new zones only allow for one weekly mob loot of the Key to the Palace of Lei Shen, as well as one weekly loot of Trove of the Thunder King.

Just to clarify on drop chances for ritual stones and keys, you can only obtain one Key to the Palace of Lei Shen (aka treasure room) from any creature on the island, including the Isle of Thunder Rare Elites. Once you've already looted one off of a creature, no more will drop from creatures for your character that week. Additional keys can potentially drop from other select sources, but are extremely rare and not something you can try to farm.

Anyway, if you could incorporate these ideas into your already fantastic add on, it would be great!

Problem is I don't play these days, and I raid even less.. no promise, but I'll see what I can do. Should be feasible.

At any rate, Altoholic is one of only a couple addons I run outside of my own code. It's fairly decent besides a few annoyances that I've fixed like the recipe, pet, and glyph owners tooltip ignoring the TooltipCrossFaction setting.

If you have fixes you wish me to incorporate into the addon, mail them to me, and I'll arrange that :)

So I need the DataStore information saved by Altoholic for use out-of-game. Digging around in the DataStore folders I found the Export folder and eventually the ExportToXML.lua file. Surprisingly it worked with one very minor bug fix which is awesome since it doesn't look like it's seen recent love (may be wrong on that).

The bug I found is that during the creation of DataStore_Inventory.xml it came across something that caused a nil value in "value" which was unexpected by the line:

WriteXMLLine(file, level, format("<%s %s>%s", tag, attributes, value, tag))

As a quick cheat I changed that one line to this:

else
WriteXMLLine(file, level, format("<%s %s>%s", tag, attributes, "Not Found", tag))
end

and it successfully parsed 2 characters worth of data.

When I looked for what items were causing the unexpected nil in the variable value I found 3 "Not Found" listings, which were for the following item ids; 6557, 4561, 2632, which surprisingly are all mundane items that seem to have been in-game for quite a while (I was expecting it to be choking on some exotic 5.2 only items).

Anyway, thanks for an awesome Addon, an awesome Library, and an awesome tool for that library. BTW, what I'm trying to write is a "hey dummy, you've got a Lerah's Ribsmasher worth 7,000g sitting in Tab 4 of your Guild Bank and you've got that in your 'I sell these items' list and you've already got 2 on the Auction House on this faction, but you've got none listed on the other faction Auction House, move that thing over and get it listed" type helper app... guess that example's a bit verbose but I think you get the idea.

WoWI has always been my home. I tried Curse once, but they made a really bad first impression with how glitchy their site was at the time. Back then, I had trouble trying to get my account set up, on top of the fact if I wanted to download any addons hosted there, I had to hack their site since the download link relied on flash for some sort of verification and it never loaded properly.

At any rate, Altoholic is one of only a couple addons I run outside of my own code. It's fairly decent besides a few annoyances that I've fixed like the recipe, pet, and glyph owners tooltip ignoring the TooltipCrossFaction setting.
