I'm trying to something, I usually do with profiles:

Im using 2 different UnitFrames-Layouts for my compilation, easily done by kgpanels and Reflux, but Reflux doesn't work (oUF has no layouts obviously) and if I try to rearrange the UnitFrames with "uOF_drk_player:ClearAllPoints()" and "oUF_drk_player:SetPoint("CENTER", UIParent", "CENTER")" (jsut as an example) within a onClickHandler and kgPanels, i get something like "attempt to index global oUF_drk_player (a nil value).

Is there a way to emulate an profile (which, I think, is atm impossible 'Cause setting are in "core.lua" and not in a SavedVariable....) or to change the values with kgPanels?

greetz and great Layout!

ps.: How the hell am I supposed to color the powerbar in powertype? (Blue for mana, yellow focus/energy, red rage etc)

I *think* I have it.
Before I did anything I backed up and saved a copy of the original "oUF_Drk lib lua" file to my desktop... which was where I found:
lib.ThreatBar = function(self)
if cfg.ThreatBar then
local ThreatBar = CreateFrame("StatusBar", self:GetName()..'_ThreatBar', UIParent)
ThreatBar:SetFrameLevel(5)
ThreatBar:SetPoint("BOTTOM", UIParent,"BOTTOM", 0, 150)
ThreatBar:SetWidth(348)
ThreatBar:SetHeight(16)

Since I use kgpanels .. I simply made one called experiment .. made sure the anchor points were "Bottom" "Bottom" .. made it to the approx size listed in the lib lua file .. and moved the panel to where I wanted it and noted the X, Y co ordinates... exited wow

I used the co ords from kgpanels in place of the "0, 150" in the oUF_Drk lib lua in my addon folder.. saved changes .. fired up wow ..grabbed somebody from guild to "party" up with .. found a target ...and voila !! the threatbar to exactly where I want it.

I am keeping the original backup I saved to desktop for a little while ..."just incase"

Originally posted by solothedrunk
A cool feature but I can't find where the coords for moving it are in the Lua config. Does anyone know how to move it? And yea I've tried OMF to move it.

I'm looking to find a way to move it as well .. oUF_ThreatBar can be found in the "PlugIns" folder in oUF_Drk ..

http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info14606-oUF_ThreatBar.html shows: self.ThreatBar:SetPoint('CENTER', UIParent, 'CENTER', 0, 0)

reading the comments listed there suggests looking at oUF_Banthis where I've gotten as far as:
--]--
threatBarPos = {'CENTER', UIParent, 'CENTER', 0, -150},
threatBarHeight = 10,
threatBarWidth = 150,

in the config there (there's a notation in the "change log" about the threatbar)

so I'm thinking the "0", "0" in the PlugIn file folder are the X & Y may just be how we move the ThreatBar

I just be thinkin' now ... and just may be brave enough to fiddle around with those numbers

Is there a way to increase the frequency of my power bar and health bar updates?

Right now it counts up energy on my rogue in increments of 20. I'd like to have it count up in real time as I regenerate energy, and I can't find any setting that controls the update rate.

Thanks!

I'm hoping this screenshot can shed a little light on the "huge" buffs .. and yes they sometimes do sit over top of some of Blizz's.

My question comes about from logging onto my rogue .. poisoning up .. and not seeing the poison buff anywhere (unless I'm missing it) .. it did take me a couple of seconds to locate the "combo points"

http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/6187/wowscrnshot071311190339.jpg

I REALLY love the look of this Layout .. awesome job done and I'll hope somewhere down the road there will be some scalability to the player and target frames (in particular)... or it'll be my excuse to buy a bigger monitor :)

But I moved onto having a friend finish getting it in the correct position. But you can move it if you know how. :)

And thanks for all of the help. :D

Originally posted by Raroo
The issues is my buffs are NOT at my unit frame. lol. I should of explained it better I apologize. But the buffs that should be at my unitframe are hovering over the blizzard buffs and are HUGE. I was wondering how to get them back down TO my unit frame itself. I wasn't having this issue yesterday. But I updated today.. and TADA. Issues. >.<
Maybe you could show a screen-shot, of what you exactly are talking about. At this time I understand the same issue.
As of version 2.03 the buffs are removed from unitframe, and placed back to blizz deffault
2.03
upd for 4.1
-removed pet Happiness/Pet Loyalty System
-change positions buffs for default
From what you sad, I understood that you were using older version of addon then 2.03 before updating (you missed atleast 1 update).

To clarify, it is no longer possible for this addon, to stick your buffs at your unitframe (I don't know the exact reason, but author did this on purpose).

Edit: downdate your addon, before 2.03, and if it still is working correctly, then stick with it. It's only solution, that I can imagine at the moment.

Originally posted by Raroo
Hey.. I just upgraded as of today. And I realized that when I log in my buffs are up where the blizzard buffs are. And it's throwing off the functionality of everything. Plus they are huge. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks. :)
Your buffs should be there where blizz originally are
For me, only debuffs are at my unit-frame

Edit: Read the "change log" 2.03
