i got the new beta version and it works great just dosnt have the cata items in it yet, ive added the cata herbs for myself :D

In case anyone's interested, there's a new BETA version available at both GatherSage2 @ WoW UI and GatherSage2 @ Curse! Don't know why it hasn't been posted here as well, maybe there's an issue with uploading rights or something? Anyway, I haven't had a chance to test this new BETA version, but thought that others may appreciate the heads-up! ;)

So, some 6 weeks later and there's been zero information from this new author who is supposed to have taken over GatherSage2! Nothing about an updated version that fixes the error on log-in, nothing about working on an updated version, nothing about an update for the upcoming Cataclysm changes, just absolutely nothing! Maybe I've got it wrong, but if someone volunteers to take over an addon, shouldn't they actually do something with it? :rolleyes: At least let users know what's happening! :eek:

yeah that's because of GetNumSkillLines() witch was removed u have to replace it with :
name, icon, rank, maxrank, numspells, spelloffset, skillline = GetProfessionInfo(index)

and use :
prof_1, prof_2, archaeology, fishing, cooking, firstaid = GetProfessions()
to get the inedxes

i just havent figured out how yet

You may notice a new author added to the project. I have finally found someone (or should I say he found me) to take over GatherSage2 with which I am extremely pleased.

Confirmed....

That's because wowhead has some bad information on some of the items. Check out http://www.wowhead.com/item=2449#milling and look at the Milling tab.

I tried to correct as many as I found but there are a lot of items pulled for GS2. You can easily fix it by going into the "module" file for milling and removing that record. Be careful to understand the record structure first which is outlined in the readme.txt

When I selected Earthroot the Milling info also said "Forest Mushroom Cap"

I Will check tomorrow with this newest version. (I want to make sure I didn't have some old code, so I deleted the folder and extracted the new one.)

You should be able to use /reload and it will work. The /reloadui is a command added by some addon's.

It's not all that odd actually since gsWLK uses Ace2 and AceConsole-2 provides that slash command (the game doesn't provide it).

I don't use Ace2 and so you don't get it.

I have no idea since to test it I constantly reload my UI. There is nothing in the addon that prevents this.

How are you reloading your UI? What other addons are you running?

Funny... I just came across when I mouse over the gem "Jade" I get skinning too... evidently there is a rare dragonkin named "Jade" in the Swamp of Sorrows. I put some logic in there for skinning that if the target is not a UNIT to ignore it.

What you are experiencing is a bug in my match regex which I also fixed.

Line 460 in Main.lua should read:

match = data:match(string.format("~%s`.-~", name))

I also added the following after line 463 in Main.lua

-- Some creatures are named things like "Jade"
if k == skinning and sType ~= UNIT then return end

Will upload in a few minutes. With the number of changes from the last version, I'm surprised I didn't screw up more stuff.

I was in Razorfen Downs and when I moused over "Fire" the tooltip stated that is was skinnable, and gate a list of leathers.
I will try to reproduce this again, just a heads up.
