Ah, I've discovered what happened here. Seems phanxchat conflicts with the chat frame mod. Not sure why, but there you go. I'll see if the guy who makes phanxchat can make an exception for it.

No, this is the only way I have found that works with the current live content, of course when I found this I stopped looking. If you want to paste your old custom code I could look at it and see why it no longer works on live, or you could just compare your code with mine, I imagine it's probably not too different.

Sorry for the late response I've been away for awhile staying with my parents while I had some dental work done.

I used to use a similar mod (home made) pre 3.3.5 but that script doesn't seem to work anymore. Do you know of an alternative way to stop the alpha-increase when mousing over chat frames? Or is this a bug my end?
