XP to go as a percent:
The tooltip already shows you the completed percent... if you're 40% of the way through the level, it should be fairly obvious that you have 60% to go. Unlike actual experience to level, the percent is never more than 2 digits (easy to calculate in your head if you really want), and isn't really important anyway.

Kills/time to level:
No, definitely not. I've never seen the point of these statistics. Unless you are leveling entirely by grinding for hours upon hours, you're almost never going to kill the same thing enough times in a row that such a prediction can be anywhere near accurate.

I'm going to decline this, for two reasons. One, it neither reduces clutter nor adds functionality. Two, it would conflict with general font addons like ClearFont that already set the font on the chat frames, as there is a long-standing bug that causes the font in ChatFrame1 to get "stuck" after being set once. As you mentioned, this is quite doable through other addons, and I'd like to avoid conflicts with other addons where possible.

Broadcasting statuses or notifications are outside the scope of what I intend ShieldsUp to be: a personal monitor. Dual-boxing is a rather small niche, and while your example certainly makes sense for why it would be useful for you to see the statuses on another character, it's not generally useful enough to warrant the code to add it, or to overcome my personal dislike of addons that broadcast anything.

Ankh Cooldown Timer already does exactly what you describe. If you want to carry 10 ankhs, type "/act buy 10". Then when you visit a vendor, the addon will buy as many ankhs as are necessary to bring the total number of ankhs in your inventory to 10. If you have 5, it will buy 5. If you have 2, it will buy 8.

You should probably spend a little more time reading the addon description and trying the options in-game before asking for new features next time.

1. Channel name processing is now limited to a small subset of message types to reduce CPU usage. Channel notification messages are not one of those types, but you can easily add them by adding CHAT_MSG_CHANNEL_NOTICE and CHAT_MSG_CHANNEL_USER to the formatTypes table in Core.lua.

2. I'm not sure what's not intuitive about " joined.", and don't really want to get in the business of replacing strings. There are hundreds of text strings in WoW that could probably benefit from reformatting, but that's well out of PhanxChat's modest scope.

3. Fade-in alpha level can easily be achieved by adding "DEFAULT_CHAT_ALPHA = 0.5" (where 0.5 is your desired level of opacity) to the top of any Lua file in any addon. I may or may not add an option in PhanxChat to set it.
