ok- my code was 10x of wrong - you need the item info you get from the match function to work - so I'm changing the approach to pass in the boss name and instance name into the match function, and updated the match function (line 2628 of Loot.lua) to be: if (string.find(strlower(itemName), name, 1, true) nil) and not in item name (string.find(strlower(BossName), name, 1, true) nil) and and not in boss name (string.find(strlower(InstanceName), name, 1, true) nil) then and not in instance name this seems to work pretty good (Interface: Altoholic | Feature: Double crit messages)

Hi, I don't see why it would be necessary, as they actually serve two different purposes, and information is present in guild skills anyway. In the "skills" pane, I want to emphasize the skill level (ie: the number), and see at a glance who is at what level. It also allows the use of a dedicated tooltip for skill info & suggestions. In the "guild skills" pane, you can see the main professions of your alts as full links, so I fail to see why I should duplicate the same behavior for alts in the "skills" pane. I'm not closing the suggestion at this point, please give me more info about why you think it could make a difference :) Thao (Interface: Altoholic | Feature: )

The addon is all about information, if you want access to your toons information, they have to be loaded into memory, and I want it to stay that way at least for now. I don't totally reject the idea of going to modules, but the addon is a package of interconnected features, so I don't want to have to manage the hassle of data being available or not. In addition to this, Altoholic takes 3MB on my machine, probably a bit more when 3.0.2 will be released because achievements take some additional space, but keep in mind that because the addon's name begins with an A, it is credited with the memory & cpu usage of the libs it uses. Some benchmarks have shown me that 1.2-1.5MB are due to LibBabble. Unfair, but true. So, if I want to save memory, I would rather work on compressing data in memory than using libs. No matter what I choose to do, it won't be before a long time (not in 2008 for sure) as I'll be rather busy IRL until december. Feature rejected for now, but it remains in my plans, I'll decide later what I want to do with this. (Interface: | Feature: Current session XP is not correct.)

I'm still looking to improve this part, thus I'll keep this feature request opened until I find an interesting solution. Also answered on wowace, I'll investigate the impact of this change before accepting it or rejecting it. I understand the need, but it's quite some work on the coding side. Stays "under review" for now as well. Note: it may be a while before I work on this, as other features have a higher priority at the moment, especially data sharing, which will gain priority after 3.0. (Interface: | Feature: )
