Today i have tested this issue a little more and i have to admit i can not reproduce this behavior. I know that this happened to me twice but actually i do not know how it happened to me. I have checked if it happens if i load sct with a new char that has never loaded it, but even this was not the case. I will watch for this misbehavior and when it happens again i hope i have more information about it. Untill then i think this is fixed. You are downloading the wrong version. Even so, you can just cgheck "Load out of data addons" and it will work fine. (Interface: | Bug: SCT Options Showing as red in the wow addon menu.)

I can confirm, I am getting this error also, I was just going to post it, but saw it was already here. It happens every time a kill a mob. I am running a mod nQuestLog which can hook into SCT to use it when updating quest objectives. However, disabling that notification still causes the error.
