- heinzschen, an ability...

heinzschen, an ability like this is in the most current version. Casting Crusader Aura can be set to trigger a mount after the cooldown finishes. There isn't a way in Livestock to make the previous aura come back on a dismount, though - addons can't automatically cast spells for you.

The best option is a macro that uses:

/cast Whatever Aura
/dismount

- Gezus, I just saw this...

Gezus, I just saw this feature request after I responded to your comment earlier today. I don't think I'm going to change Smart Mounting - my idea for it is that it puts you on the most appropriate mount available for the job. On my characters where I don't yet have epic flying skill, I use separate land and flying mount keybinds to make sure I don't get on my (slow) flying mount unless I really have to.

I hope the discussion we had earlier about the macro was enough for you!

- I've put in a sub-option...

I've put in a sub-option for dismissing ONLY when your PVP flag is up. This will be in v1.0.7 which I plan to upload on Monday. This gives me a bit of time to get in touch with the two very helpful people translating the mod into German and French so I can update with a fully localized version instead of having mini-updates every time I need a new translation. The other reason why I am delaying it a bit is that unfortunately there's no "magic way" to see if you can be attacked by the other faction - there are several different checks to see what your PVP status is. (PVP server and in hostile territory, PVE/PVP server and used /pvp to turn it on, PVP/PVE server and in an arena, etc...) So I'm also trying my hardest to make sure I accurately check for ALL possible ways for you to have an "attackable" status.

I am also checking into Fubar integration - that will take longer, so for now I put the "only while flagged" option in.

- This was added in 1.0.2...

This was added in 1.0.2 but the event I used to capture returning to life also fires on entering instances or portaling into a place.
